As the year winds down and the holiday season gets into full swing, we wanted to take a moment to step away from the "to-do" lists and simply say thank you.

Looking back on the projects we’ve tackled and the conversations we’ve had in this community over the last eleven months, we feel incredibly lucky.

Your support is the best gift we could ask for. Beyond the financial help—which truly keeps the lights on and the creativity flowing—it’s your encouragement, your feedback, and your presence here that make this journey meaningful.

Wishing you all a warm, peaceful, and happy holiday season.

❤️ With gratitude,

Carolyn & Nanette

It's been a joy to experience the movies I love with both of you each week. Thank-you for all that you do. Merry Christmas Carolyn & Nanette!!

Phil Stubblefield

Both Dr. No and A Fish Called Wanda in the same week?!? Talk about Christmas presents! 🎁

Jeremy V.

You have no idea how absolutely overjoyed I am that you’re starting the bond movies. Cold War bond is the absolute best. And you’re gonna love a fish called Wanda.

Totally Whatever

That is so kind of you to say, Mark. WE are so grateful to have you here. Merry Christmas!!

Totally Whatever

🙌 So glad we have two favorites for you! Merry Christmas!!

I truly love a verbal ushering to drive a channel in a certain direction for purely selfish reasons without actually coming out and saying so. In the business, we call this peer pressure. 👆This is the true meaning of Christmas☝️ 🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸

Sam

Merry Christmas Nanette and Carolyn - it's been a great year being with you.

Byrd N. Hand

I could easily retort with an equally dickish response and wrap it in the same justification of the "Spirit of Christmas" as you, but, since I don't want to start a war on this site, I'll simply wish you a merry Christmas, and, as my gift to you, I'll never again respond to another comment you post, presuming you return me the same favor. 😐 If you delete your above comment, I'll also delete this one.

Merry Christmas! Can't wait to watch these! Take care!

Jeremy V.

It was a gag, man. We all do our pitches. I think you took this too sourly. There is no Christmas spirit about it all though I do hear they can fix a lifetime of woes all in one night. We got to have fun with each other. A funny retort back at me would have been appreciated. It’s throwing snow balls, man. If we start taking everything so serious… where is the fun then. And don’t let my avatar fool you I’m not an awesome black guy kung-fu master. I’m just some white fat guy from Jersey. Peace be with you this holiday season. But an apology because of a snowball… and I do mean Merry Christmas, Byrd. I mean you’er the ‘word’ after all.🥸

Jeremy V.

Oh wait you took down your original comment… now mind just look silly! 🥸

I was in a chestnut war once when I was a kid. There was a dead end adjacent to our block, and the kids that lived in the dead end or dead end kids we never got along with. We found out through one of the kids sisters that they were planning a Christmas battle. Never mind this is all in good fun. But looking back I can’t believe what we did. On one side of the street there was us on the other side of the street the dead end kids. We all picked bags and bags of chestnuts, pretending to rake up people’s lawns for all the ammunition we needed. We all head back and hid behind cars on either side of the street and the battle commenced. Volleys of chestnuts whipped at us and back at them. We were all completely ignorant of the dents that were appearing on the cars on either side of the street. When we were done, those cars were covered in pock marks, and we all disappeared before anyone was the wiser. Incidentally, we found out about their move from Jimmy’s sister Terry the Tank we called her. Jimmy and Gerald were the name of the dead end kids. And Terry had such a crush on our friends brother that we would put in good words for her with him if she leaked all this information. And that’s how we knew a battle was coming. But like I said, it was all in good fun. This was all back when kids didn’t have iPads or iPhones and we had to go outside and find our own play. Just like I like doing in the comments. And after it’s all said and done, no harm was intended. But boy, the owners of those two cars holy smokes.

WOW, what a story. It would make a great scene in a movie. Feeling bad for the car owners, but it still sounds like a lot of fun.

Jeremy V.

It was wild I have tons of stories like that growing up in the 80’s…. Just fixed my typos. I do voice to text lol

Jeremy V.

I hope you two ladies have a most wonderful Christmas. Yes to you and your families be safe. Have fun.

Byrd N. Hand

Well, thanks for that clarification. It's sometimes hard to tell just from text, especially knowing how some people are. I take it all back, then. Merry Christmas, ya lowlife animal! 😁

Jeremy V.

Ha! Fantastic! I figured it was something like that! Have a great holiday, Word!🥸
