One of my favorite forgotten movies

Flounder

I agree except there are a number of reactions to it now so I’m not sure it counts as forgotten anymore. More like underprepared. You know what is a great movie that absolutely no one has reacted to? SEX, LIES, AND VIDEOTAPE (1989). IT is not only a great movie it is an important one: its success is what got the golden age of indie movies going. Please help me get someone, anyone, to react to it.

Mr. Writhms

I absolutely enjoyed this reaction! This is my favorite DeNiro movie where he's not playing a gangster or some tough guy. Another great comedy with this same type of formula is "The Nice Guys" with Ryan Gosling and Russel Crowe. You need to check that one out! 🙂

Harvey Lee

'' i Can't FLY i suffer from AVIAPHOBIA , i also suffer from AGRAPHOBIA and Claustrophobia Listen if you don't co operate you're going to be suffering from FISTOPHOBIA !!!👊 lol ! i love that line looking forward to this 😄 oh as an FYI it says you're reacting to UNFORGIVEN in the description but this is going to be Midnight Run correct !!?

Totally Whatever

This was a fun one for us! We will check out "The Nice Guys".

Barry Finney

I don’t know if you ladies noticed, the actor that played Mosley played Parker in Alien.

Jessie Caldwell

I think Charles Grodin's best role is Fred Wilson in the 1976 remake of King Kong, along side Jeff Bridges and Jessica Lange

Mike the Ginger

I saw this movie as a very young kid over 30 years ago and I consider it one of my personal favorite films, probably in the top five or ten for me. - The music in this movie is fantastic. There is actually a small clip of it during season 3 of Stranger Things when Winona Ryder and David Harbour are at the gas station with Alexi. That was a subtle nod to Midnight Run on that show, one of many Easter Eggs. - Yaphet Kotto who played Alonzo Mosely starred as Lieutenant Al Giardello on the NBC police drama "Homicide: Life on the Street" from 1993-2000. I used to watch it with my parents almost every Friday night (after ABC's TGIF). The character John Munch (played by Richard Belzer) was spun off of Homicide when it ended and put onto Law and Order: SVU. - Martin Brest directed this along with Beverly Hills Cop, and George Gallo wrote this movie along with other great action films like Bad Boys (1995). - You girls called him stealing the plane, impressive! - Yes, this movie was heavily improvised. There was great chemistry between DeNiro and Grodin. Siskel and Ebert and many other critics loved this movie for that very reason. Great writing, great acting and fantastic chemistry. -The back car window glass broke when it was shot by the helicopter. That counts for Carolyn! In my opinion, this film had one of the best movie endings I have ever seen. For all sides to work out in such a well written beautiful way is really rare for any movie, let alone a 1980s action film.

Totally Whatever

Their chemistry brings this film to a whole new level. Glad we could watch one of your top ten! Now we have to go back and find that Stranger Things scene.
