A huge thank you to everyone who hung out with us during our LIVE last Friday! We had such a blast sharing classic VHS tapes from our parents' basement, playing games, and chatting with all of you.

Nanette is still in town this week, which means we are officially in filming mode. We’re making the most of every minute before she heads back to Maine!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, grandmothers, and maternal figures out there!

❤️,

Carolyn & Nanette

Opinions opinions, but how many movies have better sequels than their OG versions? TG is amazing, Maverick is another level. Case in point: BHC2, but then I suppose BTTF3 is a contender... Solid week, looking forward

Totally Whatever

Well, now you have us excited for Maverick! I hate to ask, but what is BTTF3?

Joe J

The Final Countdown is a nice surprise.

Wade Wallenstein

More Axel Foley is always good! My Mother loved The Final Countdown and I haven't seen it in years so that'll also be great

AdrianF

Back to the Future, the 3rd one. I really like it. Is it better than the first, prob not, but it's a sequel to the second that even Elizabeth Shue couldn't save for me

AdrianF

I've never heard of or seen it!

AdrianF

No spoilers, but Maverick has some properly, erm, Goose-flesh moments. It's really well done, one to break your rules for!

Phil Stubblefield

When Top Gun: Maverick came out, the general consensus seemed to be that it joined Aliens (1986) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) as one of the *very* few movies for which the original film is excellent but the sequel is as good or even better.

Henrik Söderström

Top Gun, Towering inferno & BHC2😎👍. Prob one of the best weeks so far.

Mark M

I have not seen it either but I googled so I could read the premise and it seems interesting. i'm excited to check it out.

Mark M

I feel the need...the need for speed!!

christopher b swanson

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! For me, this is a hall of fame level, once every 6 months, perfect threesome..........Im hitting Top Gun in theaters this week......BH2 is even better than 1st and among the greatest series sequels all-time.........and I adore Final, it is more TV movie-like but great premise, the current transfer is beautiful, and it is a love letter to the navy before Top Gun...............A homerun of a week, can't wait to see them

Bill Elliott

This week looks awesome, but you two remember one thing….. you screw up just THIS MUCH…. you’ll be flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog $h!t out of Hong Kong!!!!!

Alex Leach

When you put TG I assumed you meant The Godfather… many feel its sequel is even better.

Robert Durant

Wow, in all the reaction channels I’ve watched this would be the first time I’ve seen someone react to The Final Countdown. I’d also like to recommend another classic from that era…The Andromeda Strain.

Joe J

RIP to the actor James Tolkan, he was 94. He was perfect in that role.

Flounder

I’ve watched the entire movie but these days the only parts I watch are clips with the tomcats. It would be so fun to go back to the 1940’s and see their reaction to a supersonic fighter.

Gábor Árki

Wow, I never expected to see a reaction to The Final Countdown. I drove my parents crazy with that movie when I was a kid. I was completely obsessed with it and watched it over and over again. Not exaggerating, I've seen it at least a hundred times, probably even more.

Totally Whatever

This one was a Reactr request. We were pleasantly surprised.

Totally Whatever

🙌 Love to hear it! We moved Top Gun up to this week because of the anniversary.

Totally Whatever

So glad we got to it first! Thanks for the suggestions, Robert.

Bill Elliott

You guys know I’m joking right? It’s a line in the movie…….

Gábor Árki

I loved all the flying scenes. I was about 5 when I first saw this movie around 1989, and for a while I was convinced I wanted to become a pilot because of it. Of course, reality eventually set in a few years later when I realized that with my fear of heights and slight vertigo would make that pretty unlikely.😄 Come to think of it, this movie was probably a huge reason why I ended up loving sci-fi so much.

Joe J

RIP to the actor Donald Gibb. The ladies would know him from "Bloodsport". He played Jackson, the big American.

Joe J

Your Towering Inferno reaction stressed me out way more than the movie did. 😆

Sam

Hey ladies - have you thought about having a $750/month membership level like Cody? That sure would help pay for all of those flights to Illinois.
