Popping In a Bubble (Patreon)

The sequel/improvement version/spinoff of Pompous Custody. Now the custody is not so pompous and more venomous. You could say this is toxic yuri!

I done goofed with planning the details of this one: putting solid color balloons in was not a great idea. Unfortunately there weren't too many soaps available in appropriate sizes. I also thought lighting from above would look cool and dramatic (just like in that Ann Persona 5 video) but it caused pretty severe glare issues on the climb-in, especially when it started to turn more opaque from breath moisture and straight up shrinking.

The doors behind the balloon turned out to be stupid reflective as well, I tried to position them not to reflect the light above... and then we realised we really needed an octobox closer so that thing is now proudly glowing in the dark, easy to see in the final clip.

In any case, I still like a lot of what we filmed, especially the latter third when the climb-in is too small and balloons bulge out from it in an uncanny way. It's exactly what I wanted and both girls did a great job at being teasing and being uhhh... trapped. It's a whole job to be trapped! You need to make sure your face is visible to the camera and then you need to do the han solo thing and then you need to be calm while you're rescued and so on. Thankfully we had Celestine as help so that rescue went perfectly well. 

I'm always aware I should be thankful for things not completely exploding on me and this is definitely one such case. Just one wrong move in the first five minutes of recording and the climb-in could pop, completely nullifying our efforts to build it up. That didn't happen. Cool!

I really wish we could get another try at this idea but I don't want to do repeats. Now that we have the know how maybe we could do the real Pompous Custody, with the outer balloon being deflated in the process. Hmmm...
