Get away from the tree I'm cuttin' it down right now!! (Patreon)

Oh god oh fuck this is the third c4s thumbnail in a row that has the exact same Dutch angle heeeeeelp.

I knew I wanted to make this way back in December/January, a year ago. Turns out getting a balloon sculpture is really not difficult at all, you just order through a website and then they deliver it wherever you want.

The guy who brought the tree was very cooperative and so were the workers of the business center the studio is located in. Two nicely dressed older gentlemen who seemed to be the owners of the place helped with the main doors, the reception grandmas led us through a somewhat long and winding route to the studio, an alternate path I've never seen before. Through the cooperation of strangers the tree made its way to the studio. Call it an early little Christmas miracle (we shot on Dec 2nd...)

Studio admins were really impressed with the tree. They actually thought we'd leave it in the studio for them to keep. The disappointment was palpable when I said the tree wouldn't last three more hours. Heh.

I may have gone a little too warm on the colour grade but I lighting wise I think it's one of our best for the year. Just overall a very fun video. Simple idea, simple but good execution, nice visuals. Making it was also quite chill and stress-free. A rare occurrence these days.
