The surviving dragons all felt a shudder—an intense terror they had never experienced in their centuries of existence, sparked the very moment they saw one of their kin executed with a single spell.

Yes, Finn had technically already killed the Dark Dragon, but he had done so out of sight. Because dragons were selfish creatures who viewed each other as little more than annoying rivals rather than comrades, none of them had even noticed the Dark Dragon's absence, simply continuing their rampage.

Yet, when Finn executed Zirconis, he did it in plain sight, directly above the burning capital. No one missed it. They all saw it, and the terror it caused slowly, inevitably curdled into blinding rage!

How dare you?! How dare you?! How dare you!?

The thoughts screamed through their minds. To the apex predators of the ancient world, Finn was nothing more than a bug! How could they possibly be afraid of a mere bug?!

More importantly, how could a bug dare to hurt them?!

A bug's entire purpose in the natural order was to be crushed or eaten!

"ROOOOAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!"

Instantly abandoning the other tiny, insignificant mages they were fighting, the remaining dragons focused all their absolute hatred on the single, glowing bug that had just slaughtered Zirconis. They completely ignored the terrifying reality that Finn had already killed two of them with ease.

Yet, before they could even launch their coordinated assault, Finn moved first.

His next target?

Scissor Runner.

"Stupid bug! Do you honestly think you can defeat me?!" Scissor Runner roared, locking eyes with Finn as it realized it was the next target. The beast raised its massive, scythe-like bladed arms, ready to slice the tiny human into ribbons. "Do you really think you're strong enough to kill—"

Finn completely ignored the classic villain monologue.

In a literal flash of light, Finn materialized directly in front of Scissor Runner, his fist pulled back.

"Eh?"

Scissor Runner's primal instincts screamed absolute, insurmountable danger. Among all the dragons, it prided itself on being the absolute fastest. Yet, facing an opponent moving at the literal speed of light, there was absolutely nothing it could do except desperately raise one of its bladed arms in a futile attempt to block!

Splash!

Adamantine bone, impenetrable scales, and dense muscle were violently torn apart. The sheer kinetic force of Finn's light-speed punch instantly obliterated half of Scissor Runner's body, reducing the supposedly unstoppable bladed dragon to a pulverized, bloody pulp before it could even finish its sentence.

Smack!

The sickening sound of thousands of tons of destroyed meat crashing into the cobblestones echoed across the silent capital.

That left four dragons.

Run!

That singular, desperate thought simultaneously crossed the minds of the remaining beasts. But they couldn't. The moment Finn's cold gaze swept over them, dozens of tiny, glowing orbs of light suddenly materialized in the air around him, shining like miniature stars against the smoky night sky.

To the mages who had watched the Grand Magic Games, those tiny, unassuming lights were the ultimate heralds of absolute destruction.

"Meteor Line."

As the words left Finn's lips, the tiny orbs instantly fired a blinding volley of concentrated light beams directly at Levia, the serpentine aquatic dragon.

There was no deafening explosion. No roar of impact.

Suddenly, dozens of perfectly circular holes simply appeared all over Levia's massive, armored body. Fresh, smoking wounds poured blood as the dragon's flesh was instantly reduced to Swiss cheese. The beast simply hovered in the air for a fraction of a second before its eyes glazed over. With its brain completely hollowed out by several of the beams, Levia plummeted out of the sky, dead before it even hit the ground.

How could Finn's magic pierce dragon scales when only Dragon Slayer magic was supposed to work?

Because Meteor Line wasn't just raw, elemental magic. It was a spell that actively bent the physical phenomenon of reality, rewriting the fundamental information of the physical world. It literally commanded reality: if a beam of light passes through this space, a hole must exist.

Unless a target is entirely transparent or completely invisible to light, it is impossible to defend against. The only way to survive was to possess the speed to dodge light itself or possess an absolute nullification ability. The ancient dragons had neither.

Watching Levia fall, the remaining three dragons realized fleeing was impossible. If they turned their backs, they would be executed. Their only microscopic sliver of hope was to kill him first!

Yes, Finn's attacks were absolute, but what about his defense? If they could just land a single, lethal hit, all that terrifying power would be rendered meaningless!

"DIE, MORTAL!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"

Atlas Flame and the Rock Dragon lunged. The fire dragon unleashed a blinding inferno, while the Rock Dragon hurled a literal, condensed mountain peak directly at Finn, intending to crush and incinerate him simultaneously!

At the exact same time, Motherglare roared, spawning tens of thousands of vicious, parasitic beasts that swarmed the sky, creating an inescapable, living cage around Finn to completely block his escape routes!

Three ancient dragons, launching a perfectly coordinated, apocalyptic assault to completely erase him from existence!

Finn merely stared at them. A dragon made of hellfire, a dragon made of impenetrable bedrock, and a monstrous brood-mother. They had ganged up on him, throwing everything they had into a single, desperate gamble.

The result was exactly the same.

Finn drew his katana. With a single, casual flick of his wrist, he slashed a concentrated arc of magic directly through the incoming inferno.

Schwing!

The spatial slash parted the flames and effortlessly bisected Atlas Flame. The hellfire dragon, whose body was supposed to be immune to physical strikes, was instantly cleaved perfectly in half, its roaring flames completely incapable of touching Finn.

Seeing Atlas Flame—a being of pure fire—effortlessly cut down and killed, the Rock Dragon and Motherglare instantly shattered whatever was left of their pride.

They weren't stupid. Future Rogue's Dragon Supremacy magic might have amplified their primal emotions and forced them to rampage, but it wasn't absolute. In the face of guaranteed, unavoidable death, the mind control completely broke!

Abandoning their assault, the two massive beasts instantly fled in absolute terror. The Rock Dragon violently burrowed into the bedrock, digging frantically toward the center of the earth, while Motherglare turned and soared away into the horizon at her absolute maximum speed.

Finn hovered in the sky, watching them flee. He didn't bother chasing them.

Why? Because killing them wouldn't contribute to his evolution into a Saint. More importantly, keeping two ancient threats alive and hidden from the world was incredibly useful. The lingering fear of their return would ensure that the continent—and humanity at large—would have no choice but to rely entirely on him for protection.

Two is a good number, Finn mused. I probably should have let Atlas live, but whatever.

"Clean up the rest. I have some administrative work to handle," Finn commanded, his voice echoing to his subordinates on the ground.

"Yes, Sir!"

As Finn formally ended the battle, the Heavenly Blue mages and Oración Seis immediately moved to secure the massive, priceless dragon corpses, completely ignoring the stunned, hesitant stares of the other guilds. Ultimately, no one dared to intervene. They simply watched as Finn's forces claimed the spoils of the apocalypse.

The battle was won, but Finn had one last crucial piece of business to handle.

In a flash of light, Finn materialized directly in front of Princess Hisui and King Toma, both of whom were still staring at the ruined city in a traumatized daze.

Before Arcadios or the Royal Guard could even react, Finn spoke, his voice carrying the cold, absolute authority of the law.

"As the Chief of the Magic Council's Fiore Branch, I hereby declare both of you as international criminals responsible for the near-destruction of the world."

"...What?!"

Hisui and Toma snapped out of their daze. As inherently good-natured rulers, the crushing reality of what they had unleashed hit them like a physical blow. Neither of them even attempted to dodge the responsibility.

"It's my fault! It's entirely my fault, not my daughter's!" King Toma stepped in front of Hisui, tears streaming down his face as he desperately tried to take the blame. "If you must arrest someone, arrest me!"

"Father, no!"

"No, Your Majesty!" Arcadios roared, drawing his sword and stepping between the King and Finn, completely ready to lay down his life. The surrounding Royal Guards immediately followed suit, drawing their weapons and preparing to launch a desperate, impassioned defense to save their rulers from the Magic Council's judgment.

They opened their mouths, ready to use their words, their loyalty, and their feelings to stop Finn—

Splash!

In a blur of motion too fast to track, the heads of Arcadios and the five closest Royal Guards were violently separated from their shoulders, their decapitated bodies collapsing into a bloody heap on the cobblestones.

"I'm tired. Please don't give me a speech," Finn said dryly.

"........"

Hisui and Toma stared at the headless corpses in absolute horror.

Then, Finn casually snapped his fingers.

A gentle, golden light washed over the corpses. The severed heads seamlessly reattached themselves to their necks, and the guards gasped, violently springing back to life, their eyes wide with the lingering trauma of their own sudden deaths.

Finn leaned forward, resting his hands casually on his hips as he looked at the terrified King and Princess.

"Now. You're going to listen to me very carefully. If you understand what I'm saying, you are simply going to nod. Okay?"

Arcadios, the guards, Hisui, and Toma were all absolutely deathly quiet.

They nodded in unison.

"Good. Now, here is how we are going to run things from now on."

Finn smiled faintly. With that, the entire Kingdom of Fiore was officially his.
