Comic Art! Summer Moon: Pages 053-054 (Patreon)

Whether out of sympathy or sheer terror, Shampoo’s request to be next is granted!

Unlike the other gals, Shampoo has embraced the fantasy world of the natives. Yet it would seem that even in Shampoo’s wildest dreams, there’s one stubborn pest who refuses weeding out!

Production notes:

Remastered in 4K UHD.

Numerous art fixes focused on smudges and line overruns.

Complete background replacement.

Page 053: Some textures replaced for a more natural appearance. Akane's reaction to there being multiple Ranmas is more personal since she's already experienced this exact challenge, as depicted in the RHB comic "I Dream of Akane".

Page 054: We managed to spot and fix a mistake that has been visible in the project since the 2012 Edition. In the top right panel, the color borders of the "Grass Spirit" was missing its light blue glow. That has now been fixed.

The tweaked visual designs of the island spirits remain in effect on these pages and for the rest of the comic.

The dialog has been adjusted for brevity and a more heartfelt presentation.

Dialog Balloons and text have been redone, which should result in easier reading.

Until next time patrons, thanks for reading our comic! As one of the RHB's big projects for 2026, Summer Moon shall receive all the TLC from the RHB team that we can muster! It's not a remaster, it's a REBUILD! We hope you'll join us here on the island. Much love and gratitude for the continued support!
