I feel sorry for Rose she was told to cast away everything about her old life when she joined shadow garden, but unlike the other girls she can't just forget that her country is now in trouble after killing her father and that mr.Asshat is most likely in control 😢

Leaf One's explosive fate is the latest iteration of an escalating joke. Each version of his death, starting from the web novel to the anime, has gotten more humiliating. If there is a non-gacha game telling of this joke, it's gonna be hilarious. In the LN, John Smith's meetings with Yukime often were in either at her main base, the White Tower, or a cottage hidden in the woods. They always began with her offering one of her girls' "services." He turns down the offer, followed by attempting seduce him, herself. Naturally, that fails, too. Then they talk business. By the way, when Cid was inspecting the bills, he was using magic to enhance his eyesight to an insane degree to even get an inkling of a difference

Cid: 'I must apologise for Gamma, she is an idiot. We have purposely trained her wrong, as a joke" (Kung Pow! Enter the Fist, 2002)
