I'm not sure if Erald was worried about Rimuru and Tempest when it came to the Queen's safety, i think it was more about all the new people who are going to visit Tempest during the festival there might be spies and other enemies who infiltrate.

A nation's leader must not allow emotions to influence their decisions, especially when it comes to matters of national security. It’s perfectly reasonable that Gazel’s top subordinates would consider the possibility of Rimuru’s betrayal and prepare for the unlikely event that it occurs. In fact, it would be irresponsible not to, particularly given Rimuru’s close ties with a True Dragon known to have committed undeniably wicked acts in the past, such as the burning of Luminus’s castle. Remember when Gazel first met Rimuru and they engaged in a mock battle? Gazel possesses a mind-reading skill, which he used at the time to read Rimuru’s thoughts and get a sense of his character. Without that, he likely wouldn’t have suggested to enter a formal treaty with a newly formed monster nation, especially since he sensed Veldora's aura emanating from Rimuru (refer to season 1 episode 5). That moment of insight is what led Gazel to trust Rimuru and believe that he wouldn’t turn against them. After all, if you can't be certain of what someone is thinking, especially someone who later becomes a Demon Lord, it’s only wise to remain cautious. That doesn’t mean treating Rimuru and Tempest as enemies, just approaching the situation with vigilance.
