Tanya's birthday is 24/9/1911 so she should be 12 year old during the military academy period, i say should because there seems to be some contradictions between the light novels and manga with translation issues and such, i looked up a reddit tread and there is some claims that the manga tried to make Tanya younger than she is in the novels to keep her more loli, how true that last part is i don't know but if someone who has read both the manga and the novels can confirm that would be nice 😁👍

Tanya really giving a lesson in emotional manipulation 101 this episode. Devious.

now you finally see Tanya favourite past time hobby in it full glory, putting her foot in her mouth🤣. I wish the anime does more of Tanya inner dialog for moment like this. @ 9:10, The "Ainz effect" kicking in, she think they still talking theoretical, the general think she volunteering. and again @ 23:00, she trying to scare people off to delay it as long as possible, but they all goes "Joke on you, I'm into that shit".

ALE GAME

Tanya is my favorite example of being legally evil 😂

Tanya having been middle management in her past life thinks she good at the office maneuvers for scoring points with the boss, but the general has been dealing with strategies in moving people around for years in warfare and played Tanya like a harp. She is her own worst enemy.

Tanya is truly a very ideal depiction of what a psychopath actually is. Despite what most people believe being a psychopath isn't "evil" it is just someone that has certain traits that include lack of empathy. Tanya does a good job of showing this throughout by doing that are "right" based on rules but morally awful, and gives no regard to the consequences that happen to those around her. Both before and after re-incarnating Tanya treats people like objects, you can see this in the scene where she cleans her gun she talks well and takes care of things that help her, but if something is in her way she gets rid of it without care, like the Captain she manipulated into giving up on promotion by exploiting his compassion for not wanting to send children to war. You can argue Tanya may or may not be evil but ultimately she is 100% a psychopath and always has been.

a psychopath!!! I can totally see that, I mean her evil smile at the end of episode 1 already gave her away but I just kept being confused by her actions and couldn't tell if she is evil or not lol Thank you for this explanation it's perfect to describe Tanya for sure she will take care of things that benefit her and manipulate what doesn't to use it as a stepping stone for her motives 🥹
