It's not really explained why the comet makes them stronger but you can extrapulate from the fact that firebenders lose and gain power based on the sun that any massive ball of fire would do the same. Also I remember being really hype about the fight between Azula and Zuko as a kid but when I came back to watch it later in life I actually realized just how sad Azula as a character is because even if she has evil tendencies she is only 14 so the real problem is how these tendencies were encouraged by her father.

It was great reexperiencing this show again. I've rambled on long enough in my other comments so I'll just say this: Fire lord Ozai's fate was so fitting, it was like a toddler having his toys taken away for misbehaving.

Seeing her in the end really highlighted that. For so long in the series she had been this terrifying force of nature but in the end she was a deeply troubled girl who never got the help she needed. Seeing her crying and screaming on the ground was hard to watch.

... I mean, there's still Legend of Korra. If you really want more.

SprinkleVerse

I just searched "Legend of Korra"!! it's 70 years after the events of "Avatar: the Last Airbender" 😲 Thank you for sharing that with me 💖😉

SprinkleVerse

it's a fitting end for him indeed!! one that I didn't think of at all, it's perfect 😆

So I'm not the only one who felt sorry for her there at the end 😭 it's really horrible, she was alone at the end with no one.

Legend of Korra is really good! It gets a bit of hate for not being as good as ATLA, so there is a bit of a hater-fanbase around it. Some react channels don't always upload Korra reacts to YT, since the low performance can drag down other content. I'd love to see your reactions to it, though!

At the end, Aang actually used what Toph uses all the time to see, seismic sense. She trained him to use that because of moments just like that, it let him feel Ozai move to attack, and react instantly in response!

SprinkleVerse

it seems like next generations don't get a lot of love, I think it's the same with Boruto 😅

Easy Phil

It's still a fantastic show with it's own vibe not quite as good as ATLA but I think it's still well worth a watch.

I really enjoyed your reactions to ATLA, thanks for covering this show😊. When it comes to The Legend of Korra, it’s definitely a must-watch if you consider yourself a fan of the Avatar universe in general. It’s nowhere near as hated as Boruto😂. In fact, it has pretty solid ratings across different platforms, just not as high as ATLA. If anything, the animation is a huge step up, the fight scenes are even better, and the way some characters use bending is more creative and dynamic. You should totally check it out, I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy it. Also, if you’re curious about what happens to the ATLA cast after Ozai’s defeat, the comics are worth reading. They clear up some of the unresolved storylines and take place well before Korra becomes the new Avatar.

I'm happy that you enjoyed the reaction! 🥰🤗 haha I see, I should check it out in the future! 😉
