The question I had when I first watched the end of the last episode and the start of this one, if Emilia was naked, who took her clothes off? I instantly thought it would be Regulus but apparently one of his wives did. Apparently he's not THAT much of a scumbag at least. I think Capella is one my favorite voice acted roles in anime, next to someone like Clementine from Overlord. Her voice acting and the way she portrays the character itself through the changes of her voice are just absolutely masterful. I don't think I know many other performances in anime that are on this level. As good as Petelguse was, this is just on another level. As you might have noticed, similar to Petelguse or Sirius, Capella's authority, Lust, is a kind of a twisted form of what it represents. When you think of love or lust, you usually think of romance or something normal like that. Capella's point here was that nobody could love someone if they were a fly, or a dragon even. The actions of attacking the dragon as soon as they entered and Subaru being disgusted by the giant flies when he opened the door show that you can't in fact love someone based on how they look, at least that looks matter when it comes to love. It's similar to something like "Would you still love me if I was a worm?" and let's be honest, you can't love someone if they were a worm, a fly or a dragon, at least not on the same level or in the same way you would love another human. Capella, as mentioned in the last episode, has the Emeralda Lugnica name, which is someone who was a royal in the past. Now here we find out that she also has dragon blood. I wonder if those two things are connected and she somehow maybe aquired dragon blood, "died" from the curse it apparently has and then got revived or something like that in the form she currently is now. Definitely another mystery that I hope we get more info on in the future. I think it wasn't well explained in the show, but White Dragon Scales that Otto mentions here are the people that came to help Kiritaka and Anastasia, the white hooded guys. They belong to Kiritaka I believe.

It would seem that, apart from representing their corresponding sins, each Archbishop also represents a twisted idea of love. Capella, for example, believes that people are shallow and their love only amounts to lust. As she's clearly narcissistic and wants to monopolize love, she turns people into hideous creatures to render them unlovable, forcing them to devote their love to her, since she believes she's the only one who can reciprocate it. While the other sins bring death and ruin with their twisted actions, Capella may be the most vile of them all. since her ultimate goal of making the whole world love her relies on exposing everyone to eternal sufering. I think it was mentioned in the novels that, out of all the Archbishops Subaru encountered, Capella was the one who disgusted and horrified him the most.

Thank you for explaining what the white dragon scales are, I totally didn't understand what Otto was talking about I thought I had missed something 😆 I like Capella's design the most but yes she is so twisted, it's so disgusting how she transforms people into bugs like that it's so sickening 😭
