I never questioned the fact if you ever watched the original Spiderman movies until you watched Tropic Thunder, and had no reaction to Tobey Maguire appearing in one of the trailers lol but I'm glad this is on your MCU watch list because this is one of the best super hero movies ever

Fun fact about the scene where the arms attack the doctors: the director of the movie, Sam Raimi, was originally a horror movie director, making movies like The Evil Dead. The scene where the arms are attacking the doctor is the director having fun with injecting some horror into the movie, with several moments being little callbacks to his horror movies.

This film is the best Spider-Man movie, and it will likely never be topped. It truly has everything a great superhero story needs. I still find the entire film absolutely amazing. There are so many great moments I could discuss at length. Aunt May's speech is particularly beautiful. You can infer from her words that she either already knows Peter is Spider-Man or is giving him the perfect moral framework for his secret life. Also, the train scene is incredibly moving, especially the moment where everyone works together to pick up and protect an unconscious Spider-Man. This scene works so well because it's set in the 2000s. If it were set in the 2020s, I'm sure people would immediately be filming him, and his secret identity would probably be exposed instantly. Also, when Peter gives up being Spider-Man, I could tell you were like, "No, I don't want him to give up being Spider-Man after wanting to maybe fix his life first The film is a very conflicting journey for Peter about finding yourself and who you truly are. By the end, it seems to have worked out: MJ knows who he is, and Peter has clearly matured and grown. This film is just 10/10 for me.So many themes The Cost of Responsibility and Sacrifice Duality and Finding Balance Identity and Self-Acceptance Looking forward to your reaction on Spider-Man 3 I won’t say much about it until you seen it

Wonderful movie and reaction! I can't tell how many times I watched this movie and conversation between Peter and Aunt May is the best scene in this movie in my opinion, I always interpreted that she knew what Peter really was but didn't tell him. I have many fond memories of Spider-Man 3 and I'll be happy if you decide to watch it.

Great reaction! I agree with you about Peter needing to be a little more concerned for himself, and that kinda seems to be the point of the movie too. A person can only do so much before they got nothing left to give.

glad you enjoyed it! it was frustrating me seeing his life be a mess at the start but then the fix wasn't much of a fix I didn't like it either 😂 I'm happy with how it ended haha looking forward to the 3rd movie 😆

haha I totally expected the phones to be out and for people to start filming 🤣 the train was a really touching scene I loved it, it made me tear a bit 🥹

SprinkleVerse

that is interesting to know! that scene was really horrifying. 😱 thank you for sharing that 🥰

oh he was there? I don't remember him in Tropic Thunder 😆
