And that concludes the battle of Priestella! A lot happened in those 16 episodes, so let's summarize! - Regulus was killed! - Sirius was captured! - Kurgan and Theresia were defeated, freeing them from the cult's control! - Capella and the three gluttonies escaped (Yeah, I don't think Lye died there, Rui probably jumped in to save him), - Crusch got infected with dragon blood, - A lot of civillians turned to flies or other abominations, - Many people fell victim to gluttony, including Joshua losing his name and memories and Julius losing his name. Overall, the outcome is much better than it could have been and we achieved it with just 3 deaths! Although, there were a lot of people involved who made it possible, most notably Al, with everything he did behind the scenes. What Sirius says at the end, about Gourmand, Foul Feeding and Satiation confirms that there should be three gluttonies total. As I said under one of the previous episodes, Batenkaitos and Alphard are respectively the brightest stars in the constelations Hydra and Whale. Now that we know Rui Arneb, I can add that Arneb is the brightest star of the constelation Rabbit. Now, we've seen Lye Batenkaitos refer to himself as a gourmand and he also called his brother, Roy a foul feeder, so that means that Rui is the one titled Satiation. What does that mean? I'm not sure. So, regarding season 4, you won't have to wait for long! It was just confirmed in the latest trailer that it's gonna come out in April 2026, so it's just half a year away! Currently, there is one teaser and two trailers. If you're interested in checking them out, I can provide the links!

I love that the three Gluttonies are named the brightest stars in the respective three constellations Hydra, Whale and Rabbit, relating to the three Great Mabeasts.

Putting aside the fact that we have what seems like a 3rd Gluttony, we find out that Felt isn't her real name. On top of that Gluttony calls her a "princess with a fake name" and on top of that if you remember back in season 1, Old Man Rom said that "Out of everyone, it had to be an Astrea" referring to when Reinhard took Felt with him. That coupled with the fact that Felt was also chosen as a ROYAL candidate, it's pretty clear that Felt probably was a daughter of someone noble or important in the country and they probably abandoned her when she was young, at least that's usually how these kind of stories go. Gluttony said "Big Bro just got beaten to a pulp, and Elder Brother just does as that woman says" and I think that's pretty revealing. It means that we actually managed to possibly defeat one of the Gluttonies (I mean there was a burnt spot where the body was) and that the other brother is following some orders from some woman. Probably the first woman that could come to mind would be Lust, because she seemed to really dictate everything this season and just had that feeling of superiority about her, but I think it's probably Pandora making schemes behind the scenes or something. Also Wrath is alive. I wonder what's going to happen with her and if we can find out if she's Fortuna or not. The plot twist at the end though! Crazy! Julius finally became Juli in reality. He is now fully forgotten. Julius and his reputation doesn't exist anymore because Julius, the person was eaten. Also I think Julius doesn't remember who he even is, that's why he asks "You know who I am?". Super hyped for season 4!

I have a sneaking suspicion that Felt might be that kidnapped princess Wilhelm was ordered to rescue 15 years ago. It would align with the time she was found by Rom and if Capella is actually a part of the royal family, they do have some similar features, like blond hair and visible fangs. I actually don't think Lye died. He was shown lyin on the ground, seriously beat up and burnt, but he disappeared after Dynas approached him, probably wanting to finish him off. I'm assuming Rui saved him and that's why she appeared in the first place. She did say something along the lines of "Having such a useless older brother makes a little sister's life rough." As for Julius, I'm pretty sure he didn't lose his memories. If he did, he would have been comatosed, like Rem. And he clearly remembers Subaru.

Tarvo27

I kinda like that theory about Felt. I hope we see more about that in the future. I think Lye might be dead but then again the stuff you said also makes sense, so I guess we'll find out in the future. As for Julius, I think he was just surprised to see that someone knows who he might have been before he lost his memories. But then again, you could also just be right about this one too.

SEASON 4 HYPE BEGINS April 2026 Im so anticipated for it because the light novel readers are saying its the best arc in the series I’m going in blind avoiding any trailers or previews

Anthony

it's funny Gluttony Did such a Good Job erasing name that you forgot Joshua from Episode 1 Season 3 Who is Julius' little brother. funny almost no one who watch's the anime, that the first s3 ep starts with Julius brother wanting Subaru to go to the city on the water for the magic stones to revive puck.

DecoMorreno

She did remember though, it just didn’t click immediately. With Joshua being a pretty minor character, I’d say that’s a W. Also, you’re commenting on the wrong episode. This happened in ep 15.

OnePieceMan

Well, it was kinda obvious to be honest. She grew up in the slums for as long as she can remember. And she's one of the 5 candidates. Obviously she has some special roots, probably nobility or a princess from some lost/destroyed kingdom. In fact, the civil war was also around 15 years before season 3 and she is also 15 years old. Basically her having a special identity was already implied at the start and plenty of hints were given until it was straight up revealed that Felt isn't her birth name in this episode.

Tarvo27

Yup, totally agreed with you there. I just think it was hard to really point to any real evidence before this, since they were points on a graph but there was nothing really connecting them, at least from what the anime told or showed us, until this point.

OnePieceMan

It's more like connecting the dots from how often it happens in other stories. "Long lost princess/noble" is extremely common.
