Jojo Part 5 is over!!! What a crazy and brutal ending for Diavolo, he totally got what he deserved. I can't believe the thing with the stones at the end, that just added to my sadness (┬┬﹏┬┬) 😭😭😭I can't wait for Part 6 next week!! (/≧▽≦)/

Ah, Golden Experience Requiem. Definitely one of the most powerful (and somewhat confusing) stand in all of JoJo's. The easiest way I had it described to me is that King Crimson and Golden Experience Requiem kind of do the opposite of each other when it comes to cause and effect. Normally, A would happen, which would cause B to happen. King Crimson gets to erase time, so A gets skipped and B just happens for everyone else. Golden Experience Requiem's power is 'No matter how many times you do A, B will never happen', and things get reset to just before A was even started. In the case of Diavolo, his death had come, but with Golden Experience Requiems powers in play, he could never reach 'death', thus getting reset over and over.

Also, not sure how much was intentional on the creator's part (I'd assume at least some of the more obvious stuff), but a lot of the end of Part 5 has some biblical parallels. The son (Giorno) of god (DIO) defeats the devil (Diavolo). Theirs symbolism of being stabbed in the side (Lance of Longinus) and a lots of references to Renaissance artwork, which both suits the Italian setting and makes more bible references.

I told you sprinkle the bastardo diavolo suffers accordingly trapped forever in infinity I felt the same as you my first time with golden wind fell in love with narancia and losing him broke me and I wanted diavolo to suffer and my friend who was my jojo knower of all things promised me he did and she was right

Also believe me part 6 is even crazier and features my favorite stand of all time (besides my fan made: joker’s wild) bohemian rhapsody but I won’t spoil it’s fantastical ability 😉😂 (IFYK) but part 7 is where things start to get truly…bizarre 😈

We finally made it to the end :( These Netflix subs made it extra confusing, lots of mistakes lol. Gold Experience Requiem isn't exactly rewinding time. Its ability is to reset to zero. Basically no matter ability what you have, if you try to attack Giorno, Requiem will undo the attack. Making Giorno one's of the strongest anime characters. Diavolo is a delete button, Giorno is an undo button I suppose. Giorno also keeps the arrow because Bucciarati and the others gave their lives for it. I cannot wait for Part 6, it's the craziest yet!

wow thank you so much for explaining Jojo's powers, it was a bit confusing for sure. so that's why Diavolo can never die 😱 that is really insane!!

SprinkleVerse

I'm happy that Diavolo got what he deserved, but the end of part 5 didn't make me happy it just made me more sad for the losses 😭 RIP Narancia, Abbacchio & Bucciarati 💔

SprinkleVerse

ohhh delete and undo! that is so easy to understand 😳 Thank you for the clarification 🥰 I can't wait for part 6!! how much crazier and bizarre can jojo get 😱

I love the fate element in this show. It's always been a big part in the previous seasons, Joestar family and Dio being a big part of it, you could say they are intertwined by fate. Here we see another element of fate, how fate can't be changed, like Diavolo tried to by "deleting" the bad outcomes and skipping over/past them. There is a super wonderful video about part 5 and fate that I super recommend, it's made by Tokyosaurus and is called Jojo's Part 5 ending true meaning or something. Also if it wasn't obvious yet, the arrow grants the person what they want the most at that time. Kira wanted to never be found out, so he was given a power to do so. Polnareff wanted to protect the arrow. Giorno wanted the boss' reality to never come true or something like that, be that truth what he saw in the future (of him ripping Giorno's heart out) or tlhow he'll die, putting him in a loop of near-death of sorts, never actually dying, but starting in another loop that ends with him almost dying.

SprinkleVerse

I totally didn't figure that out about the arrow! I thought the arrow gives random powers😳 Thank you so much for the recommendation! 🥰

Bocchi in Shadow

I finally understand GER bcs of your explaination of it before. I always thought it was just a new power which is UNO REVERSE. But it's exactly like Chariot Req with control but ampified by Golden Experience. It's in the mind, no matter what you do, you can't attack him. Like how you can't grab the arrow. Giorno is already hitting him too which goes back to Episode 1-2 when he supercharged Buccarati making his soul jump out but he wasn't actually moving. Now Diavolo's mind is hit with Giorno's ability stacked with Requeim's power making him infinitely trapped. Or something like that idk, but man got permahell now, constanly dying.
