Falco always has been part of the crew but only truly "introduced" last episode, just a glimpse of him and a name. Next few episodes are going to highlight just how goated he is tho

You're definitely right that the world of Cyberpunk is brutal. By the time this show takes place, theirs been no real government for about 70 years, corporations are allowed to do whatever they want, and theirs been a lot of wars. Things have basically turned into a survival of the fittest world. What makes it worse is that the only way most can escape there poor lives is to resort to crime, which requires getting tech installed to not get immediately killed. But since they can't afford proper parts and installation, it only brings on the cyberpsychosis that much faster, while those that are rich or work for the corporations get a lot more tech, in some cases getting more then 90% of their bodies turned into tech. David is a unique case where his tolerance to tech is extremely high, able to handle a lot of tech, even if the equipment and installation is shoddy. In the tabletop game, your threshold for how much tech you handle is determined by your humanity and empathy. One can imagine that since David is such a good guy, that helps him handle having so many implants.

The only part I would've added to this show would be to add 2 episodes between this one and the last one to fill in the time skip and how David rebuilt the crew and to build the friendships, make it a even 12 episodes like most shows. It's so wild to see how plausible this future is for humanity in giving everything up for more money and dangerous tech sold by the people who owned the world. Also it would be so cool if the creators of Cyberpunk sold an official David jacket, it's so cool and iconic at this point.
