I finally watched Chainsaw Man movie! ! ! ! ! AAAAAAAND OMG ! ! ! ! 〒▽〒It was an amazing movie! different vibes from the anime, I almost thought chainsaw Man became a romance anime 🥲I hope you will enjoy watching it with me (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) 💖

Even having finished the manga, I think this is still my favorite arc of the whole story. Watching this in the theaters was jaw dropping!

There's tons of little details that I love in the movie. One is that when Reze is singing to herself when choking the killer, Makima is moving her coffee cup in time with the song. That, and the fact that at several moments Makima's eye pattern appears in the background means that she was probably watching Reze and Denji the whole time. Another detail I love is that while Denji and Reze are at the pool, and we see the spider eat the butterfly, there's a lot of meaning. The butterfly that's caught is poisonous, so even through Denji got caught in Reze's web, it ultimately cost Reze.

MAPPA really cooked with this movie it's the whole package especially the step up in animation from their projects since JJK season 1. I'm loving this new era of animation MAPPA is doing from the Reze Movie and JJK season 3 where they add so much detail and passion in every scene. Especially with how this movie they added the colors and art style from the manga people wanted in season 1 that was more of a cinema style. Like that freeze frame with orange, green, and purple with Denji that matches the color of the first volume of Chainsaw Man cover. A interesting piece of foreshadowing was when Reze killed that assassin she was singing a song in Russian implying she was some sort of Soviet Union (now Russia) agent. They really did well with that dynamic of keeping the audience guessing as to if Reze really liked Denji. Like adding the Spider and Butterfly metaphor. Then contrasting it with things like her running back to meet Denji before she died. Also Makima does not play when it comes to other women stealing Denji from her. What devious plans could she have for Denji in the future? She's always watching and scheming. And the end where Power sees Denji down and decides to comfort him in her own way. She really does care more then she lets on. 10/10 movie hoped you enjoyed it.

I loved that colouring a lot! I hope they do the same for season 2! Totally different vibes from season 1. I had lots of fun watching it 🥰😆
