Toji is a very sad character to me kinda reminds me of something Naruto brings up alot all of the misery he went through could have pushed him down the wrong path we see that with Maki and Toji. Maki chose to confront her family head on and prove them wrong while we see Toji here just wanting to be free of his family choosing to respect nothing and nobody. But at the very end couldn't let it go and tried to prove himself one last time and it got him killed. Justly so but still sad to see so much potential gone to waste because their family is too stuck in their ways.

omg yessss!!! Naruto mentioned that when he went against Gaara for the first time! a very similar situation 😭

"I just couldn't wear a heartfelt smile in this world," - Suguru Geto, 27:20 The clapping scene with the smiling believers, is all I can think of, when I hear this quote.

Toji was a menace he beat 2 of the strongest sorcerors of the modern age without much effort or as he put it "they were all beaten by a monkey like him" truly impressive strength . Goes to show his heavenly pact was the real deal and he proved his family wrong. At least until Gojo awakened his reverse curse technique. It's crazy to think the 3 part staff Maki and Megumi end up using in season 1 is originally from someone who used to be in their family tree after they got it from Geto. The Star Religious Groups goal was to prevent the assimilation so Tengen could evolve even if it meant the destruction of the world. To them it's like proficy waiting to happen. One more episode left in technically the Hidden Inventory arc then we ramp the season up!!!!

As awful as Toji was as a person, I do like him. He's one of my favorite characters in JJK.

Makes ya wonder how fudge up the Zen clan is... to make Toji end up like this. Leaving his clan... what the bloody hell going on in this ex clan of his.
