I only know something, in a show, if there is no confirmation someone is dead, you should always assume the person is alive, they found his ID tag, but no corpse, since the beginning they avoid using the word "dead" and instead use the word "M.I.A." never trust when a character says someone’s dead until there is a visual confirmation and no a tombstone is not a visual confirmation if there is no corpse under that tombstone

Yeah I know, but did you watch the movie, the last movie "Violet Evergarden : The Movie" because if you didn’t, I don’t want to spoil you or maybe you don’t want to watch, if that’s the case, it’s totally fine, I just wanted to talk about this anime, as it’s one of my favorite lol, and thank you I already enjoy your content 😌

Yeah, it was so well done and I think Violet as a human weapon was really well portrayed and the post war consequences were also very well portrayed, everything in this anime is well done

Hello! I hope you're all doing well! I know my comment is way overdue, and perhaps you mention this later on (just watching this episode, min. 20:16) but still, I wanted to ask, isn't it possible that, since Violet is an orphan who doesn't know her parents' faces and she doesn't seem to even know how to speak, she is a feral child and that's why Gilbert's brother took her as an "emotionlesss war machine/weapon"? And it might not have been him directly raising her as one, but rather he found her and since she behaved that way, he took her for something less-than-human...
