My main takeaways from the episode

1) The fine line between paranoia and situational awareness is often delicate

2) Hyper-vigilance often looks like diligence on the surface, but underneath, there lies trauma

I have only watched the first two episodes this season myself. I plan on not watching ahead of you this season so I had a different thought about the note from the clinic. I thought maybe it was news about the potential of Lihua being pregnant. Like results of a pregnancy test. I think your guess sounds more like the truth. Looking forward to this season!

I know you’re concerned about spoilers in the opening sequence, but I wish you could run this one at least once. Every time I hear it, I just have to get up and dance, it’s that good. And the art is marvelous. It’s a series of trinkets coming at you so quickly that the only reaction you have time for is “Oh, what’s that? Oh, what’s that?” with no notion whatsoever what’s going on, until you actually get to the point in the story where those trinkets finally land. And once a trinket has finally landed, in the next episode you get to go back through the opening sequence and appreciate just how cleverly and creatively and meaningfully that trinket was introduced. I guess it’s kind of obvious, I really really like this particular opening sequence… 😊

I'll fight with anyone who says this ain't Yuri. I know the main couple is JinMao but come one LanMao is super shipable. Also, don't worry about being wrong about Lakan, everyone was wrong about Lakan on their first watch.

Personally, i love gyokuyo! She's so young, yet such a mature woman, i mean it in how she exceeds in inteligence, perception and personality. Very gentle and well-driven ! Lihua comes as a close 2nd due to her whole spark in the show in the earlier season though.

Hey Benoit, just a little fact check, the biggest organ we have is our SKIN! After that the liver is the biggest internal organ, and the brain is just below the liver:) It might not be the biggest (though it is big), but it's absolutely far and away the most complex.
