Hey, so regarding CIA gadgets and Bond, it's pretty well documented that the Office of Technical Services (OTS) has designed some insane gadgets. It is one of those situations where Q was created from real quartermasters for spy agencies like MI6 and the CIA. If you want to learn more about how actual spy operations used real gadgets like the ones found in Bond games and movies, a book I recommend is Spycraft by Robert Wallace and H. Keith Milton. The book has a foreword from a former CIA Director, and Wallace himself was director of the OTS.
