Khem casted a spell on the Master???! Words cannot express how much I love this series.

The master can be such a sour-faced partypooper! I could practically feel Khem's disappointment, jealousy, hope, quiet delight, and finally embarrassment. It's truly an emotional rollercoaster for a boy falling in love for the first time.

Solace

You’re so right omg ahha. Poor Khem

CSLeipzig

I just finished watching the first two episodes of DMD Friendship - the Reality and was a little shocked to see Keng behaving similarly to what Peem did toward Khem in episode 5. As the director remarked, the actor Keng bears a strong resemblance to his character Peem. Namping, our poor little munchkin, was confused and disappointed and had to cheer himself up several times.

I think he said he's going to react to this show so this might be a spoiler hehe. But I really can't wait for him to watch it 🙌

CSLeipzig

He had asked me to tell him about it, but you're right.

I had to sign up to Patreon to watch the Khemjira reactions I'm too anxious to wait lmao...I think you still hadn't realized that Chan and Jet were also connected to Khem and each other in their past lives up till this ep, that's why they're so fast to get close and become such loyal friends, they felt a sense of familiarity and love already

"You can't be my disciple because you shouldn't have inappropriate thoughts and intentions with your master." cue to HIM having to meditate after only a little peak at Khem's belly, my guy you're the one with inappropriate thoughts LMAO also, notice how he can't even stare at Khem's face for too long when he's being rude or distant because his resolve isn't strong enough if he looks directly at him hahahha the way he was staring at the ceiling when he noticed tears on Khem's eyes after telling him he can't be his disciple

mingidimple

Actually Keng was never rude to Namping, I don't know what you mean

CSLeipzig

No, Keng was never rude, but he exuded a similar aloofness as Pheem and initially didn't explain his decision to choose another candidate. This made him seem mysterious, and Namping was somewhat confused. I'm only talking about the first two episodes of DMD Friendship here. My guess was that maybe it was already planned at that point that the two would play the roles of Pheem and Khem and that's why they were portrayed that way.

Thank you so much 🥹 that means a lot to me. And I didn’t realise before about jet and charn! Was it obvious because I had 0 idea 😅

mingidimple

Maybe, he did explain to the audience that he felt bad that Teetee was very nervous during the shooting bc he was the youngest and didn't have any experience and that's why he choose him. I don't think he said that to Ping tho...And Keng is kinda of a introvert so that's why he was that way, I don't think it was because of Khemjira. He talks a lot about how he learned to talk and express his feelings with Namping

Laura Williams

I'm dead, you literally see the future every episode lmao
