I know what that's like. I've been battling Clinical Depression for over 3 years. There was a period of 6 months I could barely get out of bed. Mental health issues are real and just know there are a LOT of people out there going through the same thing. You are not alone. Keep your chin up, find the right medication that works for you, and don't give in to those dark thoughts. I know it's hard buy one thing you could do starting today is spend more time in sunlight and get yourself some vitamin D. Sounds cliche but Vitamin D helps quite a bit, won't solve it but it helps. Good luck to you

Also, the first real hurdle is talking to someone.. After that, you start to get the information you need, such as community and empathy do exist. So just remember to talk to people and gravitate towards those who know what you are going through..

Thanks alot for your honesty! I really think your are an outstanding animator, especially when it comes to expressing emotion on your characters. Do what you need, to feel better. I know, it is a lot easier said, than done. Medication might help too, but afaik it wont feel this way from day one. Give it the time it needs to unfold its effects. Wishing you the best!

Never apologize for taking your own mental health into consideration, and major kudos for being open and honest about it. Creatives tend to have a higher perception of the world and self, which can often intensify the feelings. Glad you're doing well and have a strong community around you to share their support

Shows such character when a person goes through something so tough and has the brave nature to talk about it. Well done, my friend. Depression is truly awful - but you have the passion and support from your Patreon's to take some TLC, as we love the passion you offer us. Take time and treat yourself well (i.e. grab that extra slice of pizza, or buy that video game you wanted a while ago). Embrace the things you love, and discover the new. Never stop being open about what's going on inside, because chances are - you'll inspire someone else to speak up too. In no way are you alone, mate. Again - well done!
