I guess a lot of my commissioners are my patrons simultaneously, so I figured i should start here before any other platform. Let me explain, this is kind of a rough one.

I need to take a substantial break from any commissioned work. Maybe a month, maybe longer. I realized I've been doing this for years without any meaningful breaks and that led to a huge burnout and to be honest I've been feeling myself like total shit lately, constantly super stressed out and second-guessing every decision I make. Originally I'd planned to finish all of my work in July and take a month off in August, but well, here we are. Work kept piling on, I started to forget about some folks who've been waiting their turn for months, couldn't find strength to respond to messages, just a horrible situation all around. It feels like I can't even take a deep breath with my chest sometimes, you know.

I also started to question my pricing. The demand is throught the roof (at least by my standarts) and I wish to think that the quality of my work is getting better even though I doubt it all the time, however I never actually significantly upped my prices throughout the last three or four years. I need to think this one out as well.

However all that said patreon has been and IS a life saver for me. Times are super rough financially for everyone lately and me and my family is not an exception, an example rather (and it will probably get even worse, thanks to the goverment's impeccable handling of COVID). To be honest without this page and without everyone's support here I'd probably get exhausted from overwork on commissions to the point of loosing my mind.

Patreon specials are always super fun for me to do and I've been enjoying this whole interactive poll schtick, so no worries! My patreon will still be going next month and onward. I'd really like to concentrate on reward pieces more, I'd like to try out different styles or post more sketches and wips, and I already have some bigger, spicier ideas for the next month rewards, however for now I need to finally get all of the current stuff done and get some damn long-awaited rest and just watch a TV or something.

One last thing though: I will contact everyone who messaged me about commissions lately, I'll most likely accept one next month somewhere in between patreon work, because chances are I'll still need money outside of my patreon income. Counting on your patience and I hope you understand. As always thank you for your support!

Everyone needs a break and you've more than earned yours :) Stay awesome and focus on yourself for a while.

Fair enough man, you gotta take care of yourself too.

Hey man take the time for yourself. You've more than earned it mate. We will all still Be here when you come back.

Chris Harris

Completely understandable. Everyone needs to gear down from time to time and get refreshed and refocused

WillRigby

Fair enough, take the break you need.

Metal Gear Ray

Hey man that's all understandable! You yourself and your health come first! take a break as long as you want to my dude and if you need to amp up those prices I say do it! cause honestly your art is high quality stuff deserves more than what its worth.

Vita Ayala

You need to care for yourself, first and foremost. Take as long as you need AND want to find your center. Also, raise your prices. If the demand is higher than the ability to keep up, it means your prices are way too low!

Thank you! Oh, yeah. I also stumbled across one of my older drawings from several years back on my computer and I remembered how I charged roughly the same amount I charge now, even though that piece is waaaay weaker than any of my current work. Made me think.

Oh God She's Loose

You don't need to provide any excuses for choosing to heal yourself first. Rest, recover, do other stuff, and come back stronger than ever.
