0.4.3 — Run Save, XP & UI Hotfix

Late-run Save Error is fixed. Dense XP combines into violet and gold gems, preserving every XP point while reducing the number of loose objects. Existing unfinished runs remain readable.

Windows also restores the original save-folder identity and recovers newer progress from the affected interim build without deleting the originals.

Character Stories and More Stories Await now open correctly in SFW mode. Preparation, Achievements and Arcana return to your run setup without losing your selections.

Seal, Wishlist and Recipe Pin show item icons again. After buying Select Always and maxing your build, choose repeat Gold or Heal rewards to avoid repeated level-up interruptions.

The leaderboard highlights your row with YOU, shows only playable modes, and fixes stale results when switching maps. Empty filters clearly show when no ranked runs have been submitted.

Updating: Windows 0.4.1 and 0.4.2 players can use Game Updates for a smaller signed hotfix. itch app installations update through itch. Android: install the matching 0.4.3 APK over the existing app; do not uninstall. Linux: extract the matching new ZIP. Browser: reload the game page. Your progress and media quality are preserved.

Bring your 0.3 progress

In the new game, select the matching mode, then open Settings → Import Godot save → Choose save file. Import savegame_cheat.json in Cheat mode and savegame.json in Normal mode, separately. Windows can use Use detected Godot save. Confirm the import and check your progress.

Android: do not uninstall the old game. Install the attached Save Transfer utility over the old Godot app, export the matching save to Downloads, then import that JSON in Unity. Keep the old app until the transfer is confirmed. Full instructions are attached. Account login is not cloud-save sync.

Cheat Edition — what you get

Unlocked survivors and premium costumes in Cheat mode.

Cheat Arsenal: equip, level, maximize, evolve or remove weapons during a run.

+10K Gold and Unlock Available Scenes controls.

Separate Normal and Cheat saves. Cheat runs do not earn achievements or enter competitive leaderboards.

The 0.4 update

With 0.4, I wanted to give the $10 tier more of its own identity. Looking back, I hadn’t added enough to make the step up feel worthwhile. This update is the beginning of changing that.

$5 supporters: you get survivor supporter access and the Reze, Mitsuri and Fern story pack. Your support matters a lot, and I want this tier to remain a rewarding way to enjoy the game and support its development.

$10 and above: you get those benefits, plus the costume pack and supporter access to all 11 current Character Stories, without waiting for their mastery unlocks.

Going forward, I want to keep building on the $10 tier with more content and extras that make upgrading feel worth it. I’m keeping the promises modest for now and letting future updates do the talking but this is a starting point, not the finished package.

0.4.1 hotfix: Guest leaderboard names and score uploads are fixed, including reconnects and linked Patreon / itch accounts. Raven’s Library now unlocks after a Pastel Meadow run. Ordinary chasing enemies move 10% slower, with roughly 20% denser opening waves for the first three minutes. Windows includes a signed updater for smaller future hotfix downloads. Install 0.4.1 once to receive them. Android: install the new APK over your existing app; do not uninstall or clear app data.

Linux is now available: choose the Linux Cheat Standard or HD ZIP, extract the whole archive and run Start Game.sh (Ubuntu 22.04+ / compatible x86_64 Linux). Videos are unchanged from the corresponding Windows edition. Progress stays local; import old Godot saves through Settings → Import Godot save, in the matching Normal or Cheat mode.
