It actually takes them a long time until they get pregnant! About a decade after they meet for the first time! Their species are very different so their bodies have to get used to the other's chemistry first!

Yes! He comes back north when she's five months along and is there for the birth! It was a very stressful time for him since he didn't entirely understand what was happening.😅

Absolutely! He doesnt even hold her at first because harpies don't tend to hold their newborn baby chicks since theyre so sensitive!

The same as a normal birth! Just a bit harder. Laurels wings arent fully formed in the womb so it like birthing a baby with an extra set of arms!

Clara came up with Laurel because its the name of a mythical harpy she used to read about as a kid! Kree didnt care which it was as long as it was healthy and wouldnt hurt Clara during labor 🥰

Harpies can live up to 200 years! Keep in mind this is like a human living up to 100, its possible but not everyone gets there. Kree is 38 when he meets a 23 year old Clara. If we give Clara a long life, say 100, then thats 77 years together! Kree would be about 115 at her death. So maximum time spent after her death would be 85 years! But who knows if he lives that long....

awww this is so sweet 💙🥰 but now for an angsty question. when kree has to leave after laurel is born, does she forget him since babies don’t have object permanence that young? what’s kree’s reaction when he comes back and laurel doesn’t remember him?

Every year when Kree comes back he has to make up for all his lost time with Laurel. At first Laurel doesnt remember him yes, but Clara always talks about him through the winter! It hurt Kree to have to be reintroduced to his own daughter but he accepts it as the way things have to be. 🥰 More than anything he just doesnt want to scare baby Laurel 😂
