Seven Veils. That's the lie they teach (Patreon)
Content
Three thousand years ago they struck down a sovereign of the Seventh Throne. Her name was Thalyssara. They never found where her essence went.
Half of it is inside an eighteen-year-old girl who doesn't know it yet.
Her name is Lirael. She walked out of a temple she should not have survived, and days later found a mark burned low on her hip — dark as pitch, no scar beneath it. It wasn't there before.
It means someone claimed her. It means her body doesn't answer to her anymore.
Let me be honest about what this book is.
Aetherion is dark fantasy for adults, and the eroticism in it isn't decoration — it's the engine. In this world desire is currency. It's how debts get paid, how power gets taken, how a bloodline gets corrupted, how a bargain gets sealed. Characters use each other and get used, and the story never looks away from what that costs them.
Lirael feeds on it. Not metaphorically. She drains the life-force of the men who take her — sometimes without meaning to, sometimes without them ever noticing. Her body responds before her mind consents, and she has to live with what her own body did.
I write these scenes explicit and from the inside out. The body reacts, but the mind is present through all of it — watching, calculating, horrified at itself, wanting anyway. That's the part most books skip. It's the part I'm most interested in.
None of that goes on a public page. It lives behind the door.
