Three things came off the bench this week

Two of them are about losing the thread of your own evening.

🍺 OStim Drunk Redux — 1.2

The blackout is in. It was named in the 1.1 notes as still to come, and this is it.

What's new:

Blackout at the top of the scale — drink to stage 4 and the night ends without asking you. Fade out, five to nine hours gone, and you wake up somewhere else in Skyrim with your clothes off and your purse lighter.

It takes coin, and only coin — 40 to 80% of your gold. Your gear stays. A blackout that eats quest items and irreplaceable enchanted pieces doesn't make a story, it ends a save.

Two shapes, roughly even odds — either you wake up lost and far from where you were drinking, or you black out first and come to in the room you drank in, with one to four people already there. When that finishes, you go under again — and then you wake up lost.

You wake up hungover, not new — the scale drops to 1, not to 0. The morning still belongs to the night before.

It waits for the scene to finish. Passing out mid-scene used to mean a teleport out of a live animation, with the scene orphaned and the character stuck. It now holds until the scene closes, and gives up quietly if it can't.

Drunk harassment animations are reachable. SLHH has always carried a separate set for a drunk victim; the mod was simply knocking on the wrong door. Past stage 3 it now sends the right signal. Not a line of SLHH was touched — the animations were already there, paired and working, just unreachable from here.

Every blackout announces itself (ODrunk_Blackout_v1), so other mods can hang their own consequences on your worst night without depending on this one.

Second night in a row won't chain — one per in-game day, and a save made mid-blackout can no longer leave you stuck in it forever.

On the bench next: drunk lines in the corner of the screen, changing with how far gone you are. Right now the drunkenness is a number and a filter. It should also have a voice — one that stops finishing its sentences somewhere around the top of the scale.https://www.patreon.com/LiraelAtelier/posts/ostim-drunk-now-164274963?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link

🍯 OStim Skooma Whore — Reforged

The addiction has been readable from the inside for a while. Now it's readable from the outside.

What's new:

The mod can finally answer "how high is she right now" — a live 0 to 4, separate from how addicted she is. Those are not the same question: a veteran clean for weeks is still deeply addicted and completely sober, and treating one as the other was the difference between a mod that works and a mod that only looks like it does.

It's the reverse of what you'd guess — the first dose of someone clean hits hardest. The thousandth dose of an addict barely registers. The number follows the drug, not the habit.

Other mods can read it without depending on it. OUninvited already knows what to do with "drugged" — it's one of the conditions where the third person at the door stops asking. Nothing breaks if this mod isn't installed; those mods simply never see it.

Skyrim on Skooma is now supported, if you have it. Detected at runtime — no patch, no compatibility plugin, no new requirement. When it's there, a dose can tip you into one of its trips, chosen to match how far gone you are: the mild ones while you're strung out and numb, the ones that take the world apart while you're still new to it.

The trips that take your controls are opt-in. Teleports, forced idles, fade to black — off by default, because the strongest high in this mod belongs to a character who isn't addicted yet, and that is not something to hand a player without asking.

Never during a scene. Same guard the mod already used for force-feeding.

Fixes underneath — a persuasion check on the innkeeper that could never succeed, because a condition in the original mod pointed at nothing. It has been failing quietly since 2015.

This one already had its own visuals — fifteen screen filters, one per drug, from a faint blur on plain skooma to Vermina's Price doing the full thing for ten minutes. Skyrim on Skooma isn't replacing that. One is what the world looks like. The other is what happens.https://www.patreon.com/LiraelAtelier/posts/skooma-whore-165600366?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link

💃 BakaFactory Animations — OStim Humanoid Pack

Updated build going up alongside these.

What's new:

212 scenes learned to say where the body is. Standing, kneeling, lying back, bent over, sitting — tagged per actor, which is how OStim actually reads a scene.

Why that matters: a mod searching for "standing" plus anything was getting zero results from this pack. Not because the scenes were wrong — because nobody had labelled them. They were invisible to every mod that asks OStim a question.

134 actors had their ground contact corrected, so the engine stops guessing.

New animations. They can be found now.https://www.patreon.com/LiraelAtelier/posts/bakafactory-163921571?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link📖 And one thing that isn't a mod

The prologue of his book is public on the page now. It's the night I ran.

Free, and outside the door — The night she ran, the moon was red. No tier, nothing to join, nothing held back for later.

It's the whole night — the temple that raised me for it, the door that was locked from the outside, what I took with me on the way out, and the forest I ran into rather than away from.

What I want back is an opinion, not a compliment. Not whether it was good. Whether you wanted the next page — and the exact line where you stopped wanting it. That second one is worth more than praise and almost nobody says it out loud.

Comments are open on that post, and I read them.https://www.patreon.com/LiraelAtelier/posts/1-flight-lirael-169850417?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link

All three are still W.I.P. builds — they're in your hands before they're in a changelog, which is the point of this place. If something misbehaves, say so on the mod's own page and it gets looked at.

Thank you for keeping the atelier lit. 🖤

Credits. Drunk Redux, Skooma Whore and the BakaFactory animations are other people's work first — the original authors are credited on each mod page, and nothing here replaces their requirements unless the release says so plainly. Skyrim on Skooma stays entirely its author's; this only knocks.

The Master keeps finding the exact hour where people stop being able to account for themselves.

I keep that hour. Nobody has ever asked for it back.

18+. Some nights go missing. Something still happened in them.
