He wanted to be in the film but he was too good at walking on his prosthetics that they couldn’t use him. 🤣 (I take this with a grain of salt because I’ve heard this from my uncles and parents but not from my grandfather himself)

Fun fact. Mare of Easttown is filmed in the county in PA my wife is from. Delco is so different from other parts of our area. Their accent is like a melting pot of accents. She had to sit outside of Wawa listening to people talk to pick up how they talk and she did a great job with it!
