Aa a owner of multiple Casio watches I 100% agree, they should have countdown timer! To make things worse, many (for example w-800H) do have it but it’s disabled. You can literally enable it by yourself by brigding two connection points on the circuitboard.

Omfg the not real thing - I’m from Alaska, born and raised, went to college in Oregon. One of the guys in our friend group, Chris, was from New England. We’re all high af watching The Colbert Report and one of the news items referenced reindeer. I mention offhand that my dad used to hang Christmas lights in reindeer skulls on our house, rearranging the bulbs so that a group of red ones could be electrical taped together into the nose cavity of one of them. Chris turns to me, “ you’re not getting me with this Alaska story. Flying deer? Yeah right.” It took the entire room of Oregonians and me a couple seconds to realize that Chris didn’t know Reindeer are a real (non-flighted) animal. I pulled up the Wikipedia page to show him but, it being a relatively brand new site, he scoffed at it and would not be convinced for the rest of the night.

I normally have very different sensibilities and view on life than Anthony, but was surprised how similarly we stand on that opinion. I read the post it was very thoughtful, with plenty of well cited examples and IMO, without judgment or criticism. And he was right, it was not at all entertained. Even took the time to re-clarify what he meant to someone who misinterpreted how they are portrayed. But, at the end of the day - as with any subreddit - you are going into a nest of goblins who enjoy a thing so much they spend their time in a cave with other goblins who enjoy the thing so much, and saying 'is it morally right to enjoy this thing?'.

A regular guy, have dropped several stories on to the hood of a car putting all his weight on his knees and WALKED away? Naw. But it's fine. It's a good movie. An actual GOOD Joker movie. The talk about baldness got me because I started shaving my head years ago, always with a beard (otherwise I look like a baby like Matt says he would). For a bit I decided to go moustache and kinda liked it, then saw that the head Neo-Nazi in Australia has that look and instantly decided to let the beard grow back in.

For all those non- or reluctant flossers like Will, prepare to have your mind blown. Look up 'Reach (Ultraclean) Access Flosser'. Flosser with normal toothbrush handle. Replaceable heads. I started using a couple of years ago, went from non-flossing to flossing every day. So much easier and less messy to use. You can thank me later :)

Dentistry is so weird and guilt-trippy. My childhood dentist lambasted me so hard for not brushing my teeth enough that I just... didn't go for something like 10 years. When I did go back I had to really find a dentist who listened when I emphatically told them 'I have ADHD and can barely eat and sleep on a schedule, I know it would be better if I brushed regularly but you're JUST going to have to work with what we got here'. You're not telling me anything new when you tell me I should be brushing my teeth more; I'm doin' my best, and it's much easier when I'm excited and motivated by the idea than when I feel scolded like a naughty child.

I’ve been seeing the same dentist since I was like 4, I’m 34 now so he’s been around for awhile and knows our family. Last time I went, while I was in the chair, leaned back, shit in my mouth so I couldn’t move around too much, he KISSED ME ON THE FOREHEAD. It was so weird, I haven’t been back since and am actively looking for a new dentist.

As a dentist who has supported the Patreon for a couple years, gone to the live show, bought a bunch of merch, and did the live stream of Beth Wants the D, the whole dentist conversation was fucking hilarious. (And yes cavities are a combo of genetics and habits, brushing and flossing are important, but also sorry for how judgmental so many dental professionals are) (and yes hygienists are all into popping videos 😂)

For mini painting and backpain you need good elbow placement on your painting surface. Been doing it for almost 20 years. go to the craft/fabric store and get foam. 2inches - up to couch cushion thick. Cut 2 squares. Place them on your desk and rest your elbows on the foam. This will also sturdy your hands and bring the mini up to eye level.

Im with beth. Anthiny 100& deserves to get bullied for trying to moralize horror movies. That type if mindset can be really dangerous. I know anthony didn't mean it in a bad way but comments like that come across really accusatory and the internet has had a huge issue with people not being able to differentiate fiction and reality and using that justification to harm real people for a while now. As much as i dislike reddit thats a rare reddit W for shutting that behavior down before it got worse

I have tried commenting in many subreddits including DnD, reptile, fish keeping, movies, and they’ve all been filled with assholes and dick heads. The only subreddit I’ve ever been a part of that was kind was a NOFX subreddit during their final tour. Those people were so god damn kind (except for when the Denver show was rained out).
