I had an inkling that this was going to be an interesting one, so I kept a GoPro recording throughout the entire process. Enjoy the breakdown, and note the difference what a real mixer makes!

Wickedspades

Definitely my favorite of all the songs they did ngl so seeing the "how it's made" was fantastic. Thanks Freddie!

Amy Klaver

Fucking hell Freddie, you're so stupidly talented! 😱 Amazing getting to watch this come together. 🤘

Keith Robinson

Thanks for helping so many of us through the last year.

Righter

Freddie with the majestic head of lettuce

Hez

This is really cool!!!

Ooga Booga Hana

That is absolutely fascinating! Thanks for letting us in on your process!

Chelsea Judd

I don't know if Ive ever related to Freddie more than we he had to cough after the metal growl. It's fine, I can figure out how to do this thing with my voice *hacking coughs as body protests*

TheRealDJake

Love this BTS content! Always curious just how much work goes into it, and we appreciate it!

Jonah

Arguably the best intro track thus far. Seriously incredible job by Freddie and Yi on this mix. I could listen to this for HOURS. I've always been a fan of the musical aspects of metal, but in a lot of cases the heavily distorted vocal tracks throw me off of it. This however is the perfect balance of musicality and heaviness that my ears crave.

Schooley Squad

Gotta do a cover of ram ranch called Ron ranch

🌺Deidra🌺

the best! off the wall question: is that a taco shirt and if so, where can i get one? thats bas ass!

Sherwin

Truly amazing what all goes into this single song. Mind you, its a hell of a song!! I second the Ron Ranch request!!!

Cillian Isaac

its always a joy to see the production side of things. thanks for recording and sharing yet another fantastic intro breakdown!

Cillian Isaac

wait a sec, sorry to be the one to point this out again but isn't this the may mbic?

UK fan (Dan)

I remember fooling around with protools back in the day. Man the process is labour-intense. Hats off to you Freddie for your work ethic. Again. DN

Arthur Williams

To watch it get laid out. Wong has that good shit.

Sam Wittig

So cool Freddie! Awesome to see the behind the scenes effort going into just the opening piece of this episode, you’re insanely talented!

Cali Riot

It's the most Freddie thing to caption that the vocals will be "LIGHTLY" edited hahaha. #demskills

wes

important content rad freddie

Everest

Well Freddie, it might have taken you far too long to learn that your even had bardic inspiration, but when it comes to being the group bard, you crit.

Scott Smith

Damn! Love seeing this coming together, good shit!

Zach Pierce

This is so dope!!! Im just starting to record music, and it’s so so cool seeing how musically talented you really are!!

Cannonfodderp

I was wondering how you got your voice to not sound so craunchy when listening to the raw recording lmao. Fantastic mix and awesome work overall

Joaquin Evia Del Puerto

Will we be getting the full/isolated version of this for download? Def wanna rock out to this

DingoesRock

This was amazing! Watching the track come together was like some kind of magic! This has to be a lead in to the next EP for sure!

Raul

Respect the amount of work that’s put in for the intros!

Shanna Mandell

Mad respect for the production work you put into the intros for the show. I think an album of the musical intros needs made one day.

Zlashery

That was amazing to watch. Those song intros r the best!!. Keep up the amazing work

Jared S.

That's was super cool to see the process for making that song.

Eric Sonson

that lil sweep in the 2nd solo accent *chefs kiss*

Anja Darien

I lost my freaking mind when this came on as the intro. Favourite one to date. And thanks for the sneak peek into the process! I loved how much you giggled over 'Narc rhymes with heart'

dannie_boiii

This was so god damn metal please make a full version will pay great money to see that

rockL

I will now start using "sqweedly" as a technical term. Thanks!

Hannes Birnkammerer

Holy shit, this intro is the most impressive so far. I really have to say, that your work on the intros is so creative and funny, but this one topped all before. So - congratulations! Just finished listening to the whole series the second time and currently are holding myself from giving it an immediate third round :-D

Matt Corker

Honestly would love to have an album of the opens or just the tracks uploaded individually, although this one is my favourite by far

Jasmine & Adam Linton

This is amazing. I lost my shit laughing when the first few chords played on the podcast and seeing how this was constructed is wild

Daniel Bennett

This was amazing to watch I have never even thought of how music was created like this. Eye opening

Strivia

Seeing him count the syllables on his fingers while trying to figure out the lyrics was a huge mood. XD It's always so cool to see the process for this stuff!

Bruce Bevens

I can listen to that opening over and over

Bruce Bevens

This needs to be a single on Spotify!!

Art Gremlins

So awesome to watch this creative process!

Emily

Wow loved watching the process. You guys put so much into this!

Taylor Wilkinson

Emma Loosky

This is one of my absolute favourite intros. This, slaps so hard, and I love it. So much effort, all so worth it. Yes.

benigfilms
