Small steps, big personality...the Bearded Dragon has arrived in Tiny Terras! 💛🦎

👉 The Bearded Dragon model is FREE for everyone, while the full terrarium set is, of course, available for my Patrons 💙

No supports needed - just make sure to read the attached PDF instruction carefully. As always, it includes fun facts in 6 languages!(My dear Patrons - if you’d like fun facts in your own language, just let me know and I’ll happily prepare them for you!) 💬

There are two terrarium versions available:1 - for larger printers2 - for smaller printers like the A1 Mini

The terrarium lid is available in two versions - with LED slots and without LEDs.

The terrarium is inspired by a cozy, desert-style setup with rocks and resting spots - perfect for a tiny bearded dragon to chill and sunbathe ☀️

Eggs & baby bearded dragonsThe eggs are designed with a pause during printing, so you can place a mini baby bearded dragon inside.

⚠️ Important printing notes for the eggs:

I’ve prepared ready-to-print profiles for the eggs so the shell is easy to gently crush

If you are printing the egg from a raw STL file, you will need to:

manually add a pause

adjust the settings so the shell is thinner

Brim is mandatory

Glue on the build plate is strongly recommended 🙂

You can use other LEDs :)

Hey! If the lamp’s diameter doesn’t exceed 31 mm, you can look for one on Amazon :)

Chrystal Kennedy

So looking at the 2nd picture with them still on the plate are their mouths hollow or did they have supports in them? I just got done digging one out and I don't know if I did something wrong. I left a comment on your other post on MW.

Rita Everett

I printed them without supports in the mouth

Mandy4530

What mm thickness will fit in the slots? The doll plastic is to thin for glass

Jeremy Phillips

how long does the whole terrarium take to print ? the back rock wall is telling me 11 hours and 300grams filament is this right?

Stacey

just joined, where can I find the file for the cage?

PrintyJay

Hey! 😊 Thanks for joining! You can find all currently available files in the “Current Models” post - that’s where I keep everything that’s included in the active subscription. https://www.patreon.com/posts/138860882 The cage you’re asking about is an older model, so it’s no longer part of the current bundle. I rotate the models each month to keep things fair for people who stay subscribed longer - otherwise new members would get access to everything at once. But as a subscriber, you have a discount code in the “Current Models” post, so you can still get any older model from the shop at a lower price 😉 If you need help finding anything, just let me know!

PrintyJay

Yes, exactly - around 300 g of filament and about 11 hours for the large terrarium. You can try tweaking the infill and the number of outer walls during printing, but I’m not sure how much you’ll be able to reduce it. Let me know how it goes 🙂

PrintyJay

Printing the terrarium itself in the most complex version - with the LED lid and back panel - takes around 17 hours. If you choose a lighter version, it will be significantly faster. As for the terrarium filling, that takes about 15 hours to print. These times are for the “Other Printers” version (not the small ones like the A1 Mini). For smaller printers, the print time will naturally be shorter since the terrarium is scaled down - it’s simply a different version.
