To learn more about this guitar, watch this video. I'm deliberately keeping things vague in this description so as not to spoil the fun of watching it. ;)

But I can tell you about the sample library: Basically, I've taken this ersatz telecaster and sampled it both clean and through a range of outboard effects. There are six variations: I'm especially fond of the "tape guitar" patch, which brings to mind the guitar sample used in DJ Shadow and James Lavelle's U.N.K.L.E. Main Title Theme, a track that I've always loved.

Enjoy!

PS. As as always, if you're logged in, you should be able to download this library directly from within the DecentSampler store.

Im sorry to trouble you, my Patreon is linked to my Apple Account, and I tried to update my DS to that, but I don’t think its working, the Sample packs wont download. I totally understand, if I should be headed elsewhere with this, but if you could direct me, I’d VERY much appreciate it

Thanks for letting me know! I'm going to message you directly. :)

Hi David. Great story about the guitar. I'm having a problem with the new sample pack as well. I'm getting an error that the zip file is empty.

Thanks! Hmm...I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working. Are you downloading it from within the DecentSampler plug-in? Or did you download it from the link above?

I tried from within the app. I'll have to admit that I completely missed the direct download link, though. It was one of "those days" yesterday. The direct download seems okay. Thanks. Another quick question -- the browser in the sample store has nice, graphic icons for each of the sample sets. Is there any way to make browsing downloaded sample sets appear the same way? On my systems, I have just a list of sample sets (most with dropdowns) and the icons most often don't appear until after I open the set -- and they often disappear between sessions or when I rescan the sample libraries. Thanks again! Great work as always.
