20:31

Satoru Gojo appeared on Bunkamura Street.

Suguru Geto remained concealed among the crowd below, while Gojo stood above the surging tide of people—quite literally.

Ragnar Kagenou had already entered Shibuya Station some time ago. He was currently making his way through the fourth underground level.

One final Curtain had been placed over the fifth underground level. Unlike the others, its sole purpose was to prevent the ordinary civilians trapped inside from escaping.

“Using innocent people as hostages... That is exactly what I would expect from cursed spirits.”

Without hesitation, Ragnar stepped off the edge and dropped directly into the fifth underground level.

A massive crowd of civilians had gathered around the station platform. Confused whispers passed between them as their unease steadily grew.

“What’s happening? Why can’t we get out?”

Panic soon began spreading through the crowd.

“Everyone, look! There’s someone floating in the air!”

“What are you talking about? How could someone possibly be—”

“Are you serious? This is insane! Hurry up and post it on Instagram and Twitter!”

Ragnar ignored the countless phones being pointed in his direction.

Farther down the platform, Jogo stared at him in disbelief.

“Wait...” Choso narrowed his eyes. “Satoru Gojo...?”

“There is another variable in the plan,” Dagon said.

Jogo’s expression immediately hardened.

“Stay alert. This man may be even more dangerous than Satoru Gojo.”

Although Choso and Dagon did not understand why Jogo was reacting with such caution, they immediately raised their guard.

Ragnar’s gaze moved between the two cursed spirits.

“Jogo. Dagon. I’ve finally found both of you.”

Jogo frowned.

“What do you mean by that?”

“Exactly what it sounds like.”

A faint smile appeared on Ragnar’s face.

“I’m going to send you both after Hanami.”

He paused for a moment, as though suddenly remembering something.

“Ah, no. That won’t be possible. I erased Hanami’s soul, so there won’t be anything left for you to meet.”

Dagon’s face twisted with fury.

“You bastard! How dare you!”

Ragnar placed one hand against his hip.

Behind him, golden ripples spread across the air one after another.

“Struggle all you like, you mad dogs.”

The civilians gathered around the platform immediately raised their phones again.

“Look! Golden light is appearing behind him!”

“That looks familiar... Didn’t something like this appear in the sky last year?”

Several people filming the scene stared in amazement.

“Seriously? Does that mean those golden things are that handsome blond guy’s superpower?”

“Huh? Are you blind? There’s one person and two monsters standing over there!”

“You’re the blind one! There’s only one person there. What monsters are you talking about?”

20:39

Mei Mei received a call ordering her to head toward Meiji Shrine.

“Another Curtain has appeared there. We’ve been asked to provide support.”

There was no time to waste.

With no other choice, Mei Mei and the others immediately began moving toward the new location.

20:40

The moment Satoru Gojo stepped onto the fourth underground level of Shibuya Station, the space around him abruptly distorted.

“Satoru!”

Suguru Geto seized Gojo and pulled him away just as the space where he had been standing was sliced apart.

“Thanks.”

Gojo calmly glanced toward the distorted space.

“Looks like they’ve decided to come after us directly.”

Kenjaku stepped out from behind the corner.

“What a pity. I nearly managed to separate the two of you.”

His gaze settled on Geto.

“I never expected you to recover your cursed energy, Suguru Geto. That was a serious miscalculation. I should have killed you that day.”

Cursed energy surged around Geto like a dark current.

“You’re right. You should have killed me when you had the chance.”

His expression turned cold.

“But the one dying here will be you.”

Gojo stared at Kenjaku with open contempt.

“You really are a coward, Kenjaku. Why don’t you show yourself in your real body?”

Through the Six Eyes, Gojo could already see through the deception.

The Kenjaku standing before them was merely a decoy fashioned from a cursed spirit.

“I have considerable experience dealing with sorcerers who possess the Six Eyes,” Kenjaku replied. “Your Domain Expansion is troublesome enough that I would rather not face it carelessly.”

Without warning, the space surrounding Gojo and Geto was sliced apart once again.

At the same time, on the fifth underground level—

“You’re called Choso, aren’t you?”

Choso said nothing.

Ragnar smiled at his silence.

“Don’t look so gloomy. I’m the one who killed your brothers, remember?”

Choso slowly raised his head.

The veins across his forehead bulged as his furious gaze locked onto Ragnar.

“That’s better.”

Ragnar’s smile widened.

“To be honest, those two were hardly worthy of being called special grade. They couldn’t even put up a fight before they died.”

His eyes narrowed mockingly.

“They were nothing but complete trash.”

“I...”

Choso’s cursed energy erupted.

“I’LL KILL YOU!”

Ragnar remained completely unmoved.

“Then come and try, mad dog.”

Jogo understood that their chances of victory were already slim.

His gaze shifted toward the civilians surrounding the platform.

Perhaps releasing them would create an opportunity.

Beep!

An alarm rang out as the platform gates began to open.

Ragnar glanced toward them.

“Trying to use the civilians as cover? Do you believe that will stop me from killing you?”

“Jujutsu sorcerers cannot stand by while innocent humans are slaughtered,” Jogo replied.

“Is that all?”

Ragnar’s voice carried nothing but disappointment.

“What a painfully predictable move.”

Clatter!

The instant the platform gates opened, countless golden chains surged across the station.

The Chains of Heaven—Enkidu—spread throughout the underground level, sealing every possible path around them.

“That is the problem with cursed spirits like you.”

Ragnar looked down at Jogo.

“You gain the slightest trace of intelligence and immediately convince yourselves that you’re clever.”

His golden eyes shone coldly.

“In the end, you’re nothing more than trash born from humanity’s malice.”

“Shut up!”

Dagon roared in fury.

“I’ll kill you right now!”

Bang!

Dagon launched himself forward and appeared directly in front of Ragnar.

His anger had completely consumed his reason. He no longer cared about the plan or the danger before him. All he wanted was to crush the detestable human standing in his path with his bare hands.

“Hmph.”

Ragnar sneered.

The Chains of Heaven shot forward from behind him.

They pierced through Dagon’s arms and legs before he could land a single blow.

Blood scattered through the air.

“Dagon!” Jogo shouted.

Ragnar slowly turned his head toward him.

“You still have enough time to worry about someone else?”

“What?”

Jogo’s single eye widened.

He had not even noticed when they had appeared.

Golden ripples surrounded him from every direction, each one containing a gleaming Noble Phantasm poised to fire.

Boom!

Flames erupted from the ground and engulfed the surrounding area.

However, ordinary flames could not stop the treasures contained within the Gate of Babylon.

The Noble Phantasms tore through the inferno.

With a series of wet, violent impacts, Jogo’s arm was ripped apart. Several ornate Noble Phantasms pierced his body and remained embedded within him.

“Blood Manipulation: Slicing Exorcism!”

Choso thrust out his hands.

His blood compressed into numerous spinning blades before flying toward Ragnar from every direction.

Clang!

No matter how quickly the blood blades moved, the golden portals of the Gate of Babylon opened even faster.

Whoosh!

The Noble Phantasms fired from the golden ripples at speeds far beyond Choso’s Blood Manipulation.

Before he could react, several enormous holes had already been torn through his body.

“How is this possible—?!”

Blood burst from Choso’s mouth.

He dropped to one knee, staring down at his pierced body in disbelief.

Even after experiencing it himself, he could not comprehend the overwhelming difference between them.

“What’s wrong?”

Ragnar had not moved a single step from his original position.

“Is that all you can do?”

His gaze passed over the three wounded opponents.

“Try to entertain me a little longer.”

Jogo, Dagon, and Choso watched him warily, their bodies already covered in wounds.

Ragnar remained untouched.

Jogo stared at him, an unwanted thought beginning to take root within his mind.

Is this really all the three of us amount to?

Even together... we couldn’t last a single minute against him?

He did not understand when it had happened.

Somewhere during the battle, the certainty that they could never defeat Ragnar Kagenou had already entered his heart.

The weapons within the golden ripples behind Ragnar began to change.

One after another, the previous treasures disappeared, replaced by Noble Phantasms of A-Rank.

“The game ends here.”
