Chapter 105 (Patreon)

That evening, Yujiro followed Tsunade to her workplace.
Tsunade currently served as the director of Konoha Hospital, so most of her work was handled there.
“Tsunade, just tell me your conditions.”
Yujiro looked at her helplessly.
As long as her demands were not too unreasonable, he intended to accept them.
“The first condition is naturally related to preserving the Senju bloodline,” Tsunade replied with a smile.
Standing behind her, Shizune immediately blushed when she heard those words.
“Be more specific.”
Yujiro raised an eyebrow.
“I mean that once you grow up, you should marry several women,” Tsunade said, pursing her lips.
“All right.”
Yujiro nodded without much hesitation.
He had considered the possibility before, though he had never given it any serious thought.
After all, he still had a much greater goal to accomplish.
“Wait, you agreed that easily?” Tsunade stared at him. “Do you not feel even a little guilty?”
“Tsunade-nee-san, you are the one telling me to marry more than one woman.”
Yujiro looked at her speechlessly.
Women truly were difficult to understand.
“The second condition is that you must learn medical ninjutsu,” Tsunade continued. “Otherwise, even if you reach Shikkotsu Forest, there will be little point in you going there.”
“Medical ninjutsu?”
Yujiro nodded thoughtfully.
His reason for visiting Shikkotsu Forest was not to study medical techniques. However, medical ninjutsu was undeniably a useful skill to possess.
“Then let’s begin.”
“Right now?”
Tsunade blinked, momentarily taken aback.
“Is there a reason to wait?”
“Fine.”
Tsunade folded her arms and looked at him closely.
She wanted to see for herself just how monstrous this so-called little genius truly was.
One hour later, both Tsunade and Shizune were staring at Yujiro in complete disbelief.
In only a single hour, Yujiro had successfully mastered every medical ninjutsu technique Tsunade had taught him.
“You really are a monster!”
Tsunade gritted her teeth.
At that moment, she finally understood why Jiraiya had looked so defeated earlier.
The medical ninjutsu she had spent several years studying and mastering had been learned by Yujiro in only an hour.
Was he even human?
“This was much easier than I expected.”
Yujiro casually looked at the fish he had successfully revived.
“You!”
Tsunade glared fiercely at him.
“Could you at least pretend that it was difficult?”
“Two of your three conditions have already been fulfilled,” Yujiro said. “What is the last one?”
“The final condition…”
Tsunade paused and took a deep breath.
“I’ll tell you once I have decided what it is. As for Shikkotsu Forest, I can take you there now.”
“That works for me.”
Yujiro nodded.
The sooner they left, the sooner he could take the next step toward unlocking the Fourth Level of the Limiter.
“Shizune, I won’t be in Konoha for the next few days. I’m leaving the hospital in your care.”
Tsunade was decisive as always. She quickly handed all hospital-related responsibilities over to Shizune.
“We’re leaving now?”
Even Yujiro was slightly surprised.
The sky outside was already growing dark.
“When else would we leave?” Tsunade replied with a teasing smile. “What is it? Are you afraid I might eat you?”
“A little.”
Yujiro considered it seriously before answering.
“You!”
Tsunade glared at him again.
Before long, the two of them packed everything they needed and departed from Konoha.
After leaving the village, they travelled along the forest paths beyond its walls.
“Yujiro, when I think about it, Konoha really has changed dramatically because of you.”
Tsunade raised her head and gazed at the moon hanging in the night sky, her expression filled with emotion.
“I only did what needed to be done.”
Yujiro walked calmly beside her, carrying his black blade.
“How do you intend to develop Konoha from this point onward?” Tsunade asked curiously.
“That is simple.”
Yujiro answered without hesitation.
“Konoha currently needs a period of expansion.”
“Once that expansion is complete, we will begin accepting people from the surrounding minor nations into Konoha.”
“The entire Land of Fire is now under Konoha’s rule. Any civilians with the potential to become shinobi can be brought into the Academy.”
“Naturally, the Academy itself will also have to be expanded.”
As Yujiro spoke, he raised one hand and spread all five fingers.
“Within five years at most, Konoha’s overall strength will increase tenfold.”
Tsunade’s eyes widened slightly.
“Once that happens, the other great nations will no longer be able to remain calm.”
“At most, it will only take them a few years to form an alliance against us. Their cooperation is inevitable.”
“Once their alliance is established, they will launch a joint attack against Konoha.”
A faint smile appeared on Yujiro’s face.
“And when that time comes, I will unify the shinobi world.”
In Yujiro’s calculations, the future course of the shinobi world had already been laid bare.
Even the movements of the remaining four great nations had already been accounted for.
Tsunade stared at the young boy walking beside her.
He was only eight or nine years old, yet the scale of his ambition left her completely stunned.
Had she not heard those words directly from Yujiro himself, she would never have believed they could come from the mouth of such a young child.
Yet he had spoken without the slightest hesitation.
“The reason I’m going to Shikkotsu Forest is to become stronger,” Yujiro continued with a casual smile.
“Because my future opponent will be the entire shinobi world.”
The words echoed through Tsunade’s mind.
My future opponent will be the entire shinobi world.
Her body trembled faintly.
What kind of resolve did it take to say something like that?
Yujiro had already declared the entire shinobi world his enemy.
Was the scale of his vision truly that vast?
Tsunade could not help but smile bitterly.
She was still occupied with matters such as preserving the Senju bloodline, while Yujiro had already begun planning for events five or even ten years into the future.
At that moment, Tsunade truly admired him from the bottom of her heart.
More than that, she was completely convinced by his words.
Yujiro continued walking calmly ahead.
That’s right.
My enemy is the entire shinobi world.
Becoming stronger has always been my goal.
“Tsunade.”
“Hm?”
“Let’s increase our pace.”
“All right.”
This time, Tsunade did not argue.
She immediately accelerated, following Yujiro deeper into the night.
Under the pale moonlight, two figures continuously flashed through the forest.
There were three great Sage Regions in the shinobi world.
Each of those sacred lands was home to an immensely powerful sage.
Among the three, Mount Myōboku was the most unusual.
Long ago, Jiraiya had accidentally performed the Summoning Jutsu and opened a path leading to Mount Myōboku.
Because of that connection, the easiest way to reach Mount Myōboku was through the Reverse Summoning Jutsu.
The other two Sage Regions, however, did not possess such a convenient route.
To reach them, one needed to be guided by someone who had already visited the sacred land.
Two days had now passed since Yujiro and Tsunade left Konoha.
By that point, Yujiro no longer knew precisely where they were.
The trees surrounding them had grown abnormally tall, their massive trunks stretching high into the sky.
The temperature also continued to rise, and the air became increasingly hot and humid with every step they took.
After travelling for another half day, Tsunade finally brought Yujiro to the entrance of Shikkotsu Forest.
“Yujiro, the place where Katsuyu Sage resides is just ahead.”
Tsunade pointed toward the enormous cavern entrance before them and lowered her voice.
“Wait here for a moment. I’ll go and inform Katsuyu Sage of our arrival.”
“Understood.”
Yujiro nodded.
Among the sages residing within the three great Sage Regions, Katsuyu Sage could be considered the most gentle and even-tempered.
Because of that, Yujiro had no reason to worry about Tsunade’s safety.
He simply remained outside and waited quietly.
He had only one purpose for coming here.
To simulate and acquire Katsuyu Sage’s senjutsu, and use it to increase his progress toward unlocking the Third Level of the Limiter!
