It's time for Ted to try opening up.

But, he's not the only one that needs to get something off his chest... 👀

(And no... Roy isn't having a wax...)

Enjoy!

With Nate - it is about his relationship to his father. He does not think that he can ever win his approval. I think this has caused deep insecurity. So he lashes out when he gets criticism or he has a negative interaction. Also, I give the writers a lot of credit for taking a character like Nate who is so lovable at the beginning of the series and turn him into a dick. I can't think of any other show where this was done.

Will doesn't deserve the treatment he gets from Nate! he is a sweet boy 🥺 Without due respect, nate can go and f himself. It's funny that it was Jamie who made Roy understand what he was doing wrong.

Nate is fucking awful. What the hell

There were signs of Nate's insecurity and cruelness in season 1. But since he has "power" now it's really brought it out. When he's called out on his actions as Beard did, he can do the right thing. Even though I thought his apology was a bit snarky when he repeated all of their adjectives. Then at the slightest thing that threatens his ego again, he lashes out. You could see it seething under the surface when they gave him the jersey. At this point I don't think anyone likes Nate. We're not supposed to. With Keeley I agree. She has perfectly valid feelings. Everyone needs alone time in a relationship. But instead of communicating it to Roy, as Rebecca tried to tell her multiple times, she bottled it up until she couldn't hold it in. So it came out in anger and frustration. Roy had his reaction which I think was justified. I really wish Keeley would have owned her part first, but it's all good. Maybe, hopefully they'll do better in the future.

Keeley knew it was a "her" thing and not a Roy thing... and she only became aware of it herself when they started working under the same roof while living under the same roof. To her credit - Whenever Roy asked if they were talking about him - She didn't lie (you notice that the group all said "no" the first time he walked in on them but said "yes" the 2nd time bc they were following her lead). I think she was working her way up to saying something while hoping he would decide unprompted to a few things that didn't include her here and there. Roy wasn't doing anything wrong and she didn't want to hurt his feelings... and she was as frustrated with herself as she was with the situation. I've been in a similar headspace before myself and it's a real catch-22. FTR - I let it get worse before things sorted themselves out... but we are still friends to this day. As for Nate - At this point he is the poster child for Team "Hurt people hurt people".. He is 10x worse than Keeley when it comes to bottling ifeelings up and taking it out on others instead of confronting the person he needs to.

I think that sometimes in a relationship, when you’re starting to feel ‘smothered” despite loving the person, it’s scary to ask for space. Some people take “needing space” to mean the start of a break up. At least that is how I see it.
