Loved your reaction as the team walked into Wembley [beaming smile & “There it is!”]- we Americans don’t always get just how deeply football hits you Brits. And the episode is a masterpiece.

BTW pay attention to that doctor talking to Ted and Doctor Sharon.

I love the sad face in the intro song 🤣🤣🤣 very much the mood. Brazil mentioned, yay 🇧🇷✌🏼 37:28 — dude, when I watched that part alone, I literally had to pause because I was laughing so hard I couldn’t even read the subtitles hahahaha holy shit. I hate Jamie’s dad so much!! He definitely deserved that punch. But it’s also so heartbreaking 💔💔 Unpopular opinion, but I really don’t like that whole thing between Rebecca and Sam. Honestly, I hate any boss–employee relationship in any context, in fiction or real life, so… Anyway! Super funny episode, but hard to watch sometimes. It’s really sad knowing what happened to Ted’s dad. And happy 1st anniversary to the ClaudieTV channel, by the way!! Thanks for all the happiness you’ve brought us 👏🏼👏🏼

George Harrison’s “Beware Of Darkness” playing as Roy hugs Jamie - perfect.

I watch this one reactor that tells us to drink our water and that he's super, super proud of us and I like hearing that. But I also like being reminded to punch someone if they need it or hug someone if they need it. Will do Claudie, you can count on me! 🤣

This episode always hits pretty hard. Good on Jamie, but I can only imagine the range of emotions he was feeling in that moment. Roy is such an amazing character. He's so gruff and grouchy, but is capable of such kindness even to people he doesn't like. That hug was exactly what Jamie needed. Ted's revelation right after is a gut punch. What's really neat about this show is that the pay offs that are happening now and ones in the future have been set up since early on in the first season. It really is amazing writing. People will argue about certain plot points or story lines here and there, but that's mainly a matter of taste, not poor writing. Love this show!

"Sad boogie" - I'm dancing but I'm not enjoying it. LoLz Every hair cut should be a show (you'd have less kids crying). Roy for Uncle Of The Year. I didn't like the Sam/Rebecca (just realized that was the same two on Cheers) but anyway - didn't like it - Rebecca became the thing that she despised in Rupert. My take. Roy is the man, that scene with Jamie was gold. Another emotional rollercoaster. Love it. Thank you Claudie, see ya on the next one. Cheers!

It's like us Yanks walking in to Fenway Park.

Jamie and Roy - One thing that Jamie's dad did was to put on full display, in front of the whole team, that Jamie was wearing a mask when he strutted around and thought it was funny when Nate was messed with. Everyone saw that he was mentally and emotionally abused. It must have meant so much to Jamie to have his idol/"old man" comfort him and let him know that it's okay and he's not alone. When the camera shows the other players in the locker room I'm wondering how many of them come from similar abusive family dynamics? Also, we just don't know what people are really going through. Ted - Something in Ted changes when he watches the Roy and Jamie interaction. So much so that he opens up to Dr. Sharon about something that he, presumably, has never told a soul. I wonder if he would have talked about his dad with her if they didn't spend the time together at the hospital and at her apartment? When did he realize that she was a safe space for him? The show is amazing. One thing that may be lost on people new to the show as time goes on is that it was released during COVID. Ted talking about the death of his dad, the multiple storylines about family relationships, Ted's unflappable positive attitude, and "Believe" helped millions survive and persist though those dark days. For some it was an emotional outlet for grief and loss, a way to connect with others through the shared love of a TV show, and for others it was just ~30min. of entertainment so that they didn't have to think about real life for a bit. I know it was for me. Sometimes art like this is just what the world needs and it comes with perfect timing. I can't wait to watch you react to the rest of the show, ClaudieTV, and Happy Birthday!

Alongside all the laughter we get incredible emotional life experiences. Loved the coaches’ meeting, Roy and Jamie’s hug and Ted finally opening up. What an episode! Thanks Claudie, great reaction. I still remember how it felt to watch a game at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City!

Sad Boogie instead of refusing to dance at all is hilarious 😂 /edit: Roy on the children's chair reminds me of myself when visiting the teacher of my daughter in elementary school. But in my case the teacher said "finally some parent who fits into the chair" 😀
