Clearly Carol had a history with various substances and built up a little bit of tolerance to them. Something she likely didn't take into consideration when dosing Zosia. I am unclear how things are done at a "conversion camp" but I bet Carol was channeling somewhat the counselors she encountered there in her quest to make Zosia compliant enough to turn against her "hive nature". On some level Carol must've known the trauma she was causing - but Carol was willing to dole out some mental anguish as she had survived the same... but she didn't think through the physical toll it would take.

Just watched back to back episodes…what an ending to episode 4! I do so much appreciate your own interpretation of events and conversations. I never thought about the Hive also trying to survive as so does Carol. We learned a lot more about the Hive.

First off - I would be using them to get stuff that I wanted: Gated mansion, 911, '59 Les Paul w/ '65 Fender Princeton amp....Kathryn Winnick. (Ha!) Dog food is better than no food. I'd fry it though. (Can't believe I just said that) So there is a cure(?) Oh no - a needle (dry heaving ensues). No, it can't end like this! Wow. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks, Claudie. I do get why her drugged out self admitting that she is into Zosia makes her pause. It must feel like a betrayal to her, being attracted to the person/thing/entity? that killed her wife

Mark my words! That video chip she flushes HAS to come back and bite her in the arse. She should have cut/burnt/destroyed it. Why else would the show included the image if it's not going to come back around?
