Such a great throwback. Felt just like I remember it.

Yeah this felt really nostalgic!

Hollywood is too interested in repeatedly making their own IP instead of licensing to Muppets...unfortunately.

Nick D

Maybe we need to add The Muppets take Manhattan to the movie of the month. It was always my favorite.

ClaudieTV

Its a crime, I tell you! A crime hehe!

@ClaudieTV, was that a "coming attraction" at the end there when you mentioned what you are currently watching? If so, I'm super excited to watch your reactions! As a 70/80's kid, I'm happy that they are still making The Muppet Show content. I also liked that they sang "Islands in the Stream" and "Don't Stop Me Now" as a nod to old friends (both Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton were special guests on the original TMS) and great songs. I hope that they keep doing these special productions every so often. I would be interested to see if they can get a full run show going, but a "very special episode" now and then would be wonderful.

ClaudieTV

I am watching Pluribus yeah, and the reactions will be out this coming week sometime :) And yes I hope they do more of these specials too!

This was so much fun, Claudie (SO MUCH!) Nostalgia overload as I loved the show back when it started in '76 (damn, I was 12!).. Your reaction was infectious to boot. Thank you for this. Cheers!

ClaudieTV
