What a cool first episode, I personally was skeptical but I love the twist on “end of the world” schtik, honestly some of the scenes really reminded me of the last of us, I love that sorta thing plus the camera placement and movements are fab, looking forward to checking more out (:

I believe "creeping existential dread" is the phrase you are looking for as far as what the first episode is evoking. You will find there is an ebb and flow to that feeling throughout the entire season. VERY glad you found the humor in the absurd little details of E1. There are moments in later episodes that made me laugh so hard it hurt upon first viewing. I love me a comic relief based ab workout. Can't wait to hear your thoughts as things progress. You are a detail-oriented deep thinker facing forward... with a vast amount of empathy (likely oft overlooked by many who shouldn't) and wit. This IMO makes you the perfect reactor for Pluribus. Looking forward to watching this one with ya!

Blame the rat but the real villain is "Dr. D" who broke every basic lab protocol for containment after the other one went into (what appeared to be) shock and convulsions. LoLz I really loved this episode. This is going to be a trip. Thank you Claudie. Looking forward to the next one. Cheers!

Don't know how much more you've seen but I just wanted to say about the hive mind infecting you. While some people die because of the seizure they go into (like helen's fall) I always also took it as some people simply not surving the hivemind taking over (older and physically weaker people especially being at risk.) Now you havent seen the whole Show but I thought it was interesting that you described the hivemind as good. I think at this point nun hostile would be a better word. Loved the reaction and yes the absurdity and surrealness of most scenes makes this show absolutely hilarious

Some people simply not surving the hivemind taking over <- Yes I feel so too. Sort of some just wont cope with it, Helen being one of them. Yeah theyre is some really hilarious moments!
