Zelda has the potential to become a greater villain than Rupert(RIP)

Did we learn that Michelle made the original "Believe" sign? She said he needed another one of these and Ted earlier said that she was always leaving him notes and things to hang up. Great episode of the both Ted Lasso and "ClaudineTV"!

I was genuinely worried Zelda may have shot Beard through the ceiling at midnight.

Notes for Ted Lasso 4x6 For some reason, Jamie in this episode reminded me of Joey from Friends. Not sure why. Hugo creeps me out more than any other character ever in this show. Even more than Jane, and that’s saying something. Tony Blair Nigel Farage Prince Andrew Yeah, Zelda is a villain. Lizzie stealing food is great, and if I had a bag, I’d steal some too. I really feel for Alice. I don’t think I have identified more with anyone else. Alice’s girlfriend quoting Marcus Aurelius about rejecting injury, and saying she has an insanely great reference game makes me think she needs to meet Ted and Beard. However, I saw someone post a theory on Threads that Alice’s girlfriend might be dead, and Alice is imagining her still being there. She has never been to one of the games, or visited Alice at the office. She didn’t go with her to the party. True, she gave a perfectly legit reason to not go, to force Alice to interact with her team, but I don’t know that I can dismiss this theory until I see her interact with someone besides Alice. “Barthelona”. Jamie. Tarttinis. The jump around scene. Oh my god. I I was clutching the sides of my head watching Roy and Jamie bouncing. “Is anyone going to care about the adventures of an American in London?” I see what you did there. “Do you know what Mark Twain would say”… probably “I do declare…” and some waffle. I choose to think that Claudine is a reference to you. The writers must have watched your reactions. The twins showing some actual affection for each other is good to see. I did not know that I needed to see Roy high on “the good stuff”, but now I know. The nurse saying “what a fucking asshole” when Jamie didn’t want to stay with Roy… is that a callback to the airline hostess in “So Long, Farewell”? I loved that Gemma was the one to reach out to Alice. The bedazzled heart in Keeley’s hair is so very her. Jamie actually being kind to Rebecca while still having Jamie’s normal level of self absorption shows the great character development in him. He grew without becoming someone else. That Zelda’s party was freaky enough that even Boots fled says something, but she DID call it. Ted’s new fridge looking like a cabinet is a goal for me now. “Snazzy” lol Even with Michelle lending context to Dr Jacob does not make him dating her any less an ethical quagmire. Just because it’s not as bad as it had looked, doesn’t make it not bad. For God’s sake, I know you’re writing a book about him, but enough about Twain. She’s quoting Twain more than the Lower Deckers on the Holodeck. Michelle made signs for Ted to hang in the office, together with her making the new Believe sign… she made the original. That answers a question that I had: “when Nate tore up the Believe sign, why didn’t Ted just make a new one?” Well, because he didn’t make the first one. Roy can’t recognize his own sister’s voice, but he still recognizes Keeley. I knew he thought the Doctor was Keeley. Roy’s speech about meeting Keeley, he had no way of knowing that it would be the start of something special harkens back to season one’s Tan Lines, when Ted was talking about meeting Michelle for the first time, and it was a voiceover playing over Roy startling Keeley in the car park outside the training center. Of course, Ted and Michelle weren’t end game, so I hope the parallels end there. I cannot believe the Higgins’s stated at that mad party. The actor playing Claudine: I swear I’ve seen her before, so I looked at her IMDB, and I don’t seem to have seen anything she was in, but even her name is ringing bells. That’s going to bother me. Did Jamie aim for the forehead? “he never misses”. Can any random Dutch man just wander into a hospital after midnight? When Zelda was firing the gun, I was worried she was directly beneath where Beard was. I should have known this show wouldn’t do that.

"Of course, mate, you're God, knock yourself out" - Book of Jamie Tarte /// a very enthusiastic Lasso Shuffle /// oh...it's Zelda /// wow - Lizzie's really going for that cheese and...everything else (LoLz) /// "Jump around, till my knee gets bent, then fall down" /// Claudine /// "Purse ham" - ya, I'm going to have to hit that with a "Phrasing!" (ha) /// Alice looks good in that /// what did Keeley expect? /// good scene with Alice and Gemma /// You did mention your theory of Michelle - might have been in vc though /// poor Beard /// they need to pull the band aid off that Roy/Keeley story (imo) /// well, there it is "Rrrrrrip!" /// Was just thinking that they (writers) were letting Alice off the hook too easy but then.... /// Thanks, Claudie. See ya at the next one.

So, Zelda… yeah… just sink the boat. I do think it’s really clever how they snuck a little political commentary in the party. Jamie is great. Such a lovable, daft, sensitive prick. The way I basically yelled “Alice” at the end… girl, be a little vulnerable, let the team in. Gemma IS helping.

This was a truly beautiful episode. I see a lot of people bashing this season online. And there's always subjectivity not to mention people that want to hate for hate's sake. But I think there's just so much below the surface, just like the other seasons. Does it feel different? Yes. Is that a bad thing? Not in my opinion. It's just a different story. This episode had the feels, the humor, the heart, and the sadness all in the wonderful balance that is Ted Lasso (the show). I didn't think anything would top the Jamie teaching Roy to ride a bike in Amsterdam scene. But the jump around scene just sent me! Right from the first note of the music cue, I knew exactly what was about to happen. So hysterical. "I shouldn't have jumped around!" "You had no choice, Roy!" At the end of season 3, I'll admit I was kind of rooting for Ted and Michelle to get back together. But this friendship and mutual platonic love they have is so much better. I do hope they both find some romance in the future. I was one who completely blamed Dr. Jacob for their relationship. But this revelation was interesting. I still think he was wrong for letting it happen, but I don't hate him for it anymore. Look what Rebecca was doing to Ted and the team first season, and yet we all forgave her. I never shipped Ted and Sassy either. I didn't think she was bad for him as a rebound or FWB situation. But yeah, I don't think they would've been a good long-term relationship thing. Poor Henry keeps getting used for child-labor. First by Will as a kit man and now Mae as a bar helper. LOL!
