Now that you guys are Done with season 1 You guys should react to the lore of season 1 it does wonder for worldbuildning and understanding the charecters better They have 1 Loré video per season so after every season you could watch those aswell Btw love you guys!

Yeah, if I was like a priestess and some asshole came in and had his men burn down the temple to my god and r-ed/murdered me and everyone else I knew and loved I would without a question poison his ass. The kid hadn't done anything yet, but she's a priestess that listens to higher powers and she knew he was prophecied to do to the entire world what his parents did to her home. So again, perfectly understandable. The entire reason they even attacked them was literally because they needed to cross the sea to go invade the Seven Kingdoms, a thing Daenerys wanted and advocated for. Even if she wasn't ordering them to do it directly she's still very much responsible for everything they did. So yeah, don't honestly feel sorry for dragon lady on this one. She had it coming.

I disagree with the Sansa was power hungry take. You have to remember that she is a uberprivileged 13 year old girl, she doesn't want to be queen for the power, just to be queen.

The utter lack of media literacy around Sansa's character is astounding. Wondering why a child raised in a patriarchal society on songs about nobel princes and dashing knights might be too naive to see the darker sides of the people she's been raised to trust is crazy

(slight rant) So many people on this post talking about media literacy. Sansa is 11 in the books, at 11 you could be forgiven for acting the way Sansa does, only wanting the approval of those she likes. But she is 13 in the show, idk about everyone else here but at 13 I knew that if someone was doing heinous things then I shouldn't be glazing them I should be wary or try to at least protect those I care about. While I do understand the argument that the way she was raised is contributing, even then Arya was raised the same and even she at her younger age is like, these fools be foolin, and tries to take action in her limited capacity as a child. The issue with Sansa in the early seasons is she doesn't care about her family, lots of the time viewing them as a hinderance or annoyance, moody teenager sure, but she repeatedly misplaces blame, shirks her own family and house in a time where family bonds trump all, and until now none of it is from self preservation. its all petty and demeaning and just horrible. And for those that want to make the "she's just a kid" argument, during this time period (presuming parallels with the middle ages) Sansa is basically considered an adult, she should be aware that her actions have consequences. she is as much a spoiled brat a Joffery, the difference is she learns over time how to act. stop arguing about media literacy, its not the SAT's its all opinion. If you're using your own opinion then debate it without throwing around abstracting and denouncing terminology. If you feel superior for your opinion because you saw it in an analysis video then be quiet and sit in the corner, you get to speak when you have an original thought. Sorry it just bothers me when people hate on reactions due to such arbitrary reasons.

Some of yall be wild for your takes on defending sansas character. That girl is so up her own backside in season 1. She wants to be queen not because of a sense of duty or care for those around her she wants tne pretty blonde arm candy wno will legitimise what she already thinks. I am the best, i can do no wrong everyone else is clumsy, ugly or uncultured even my own family and all the lords and ladies should defer to me. The author wants us to dislike and even hate stuck up sansa and love arya because of whats to comd down the line these are perfect starting points for their respective stories. The wild young arya who craves life of a lad forced now to pretend she is one in the crappiest of circumstances and the pretentious sansa who craved the glam and glitz of queendom now left to marry her golden haired monster while the "nobles" she so admired stand by and do nothing but laugh.
