I'm glad you put to rest on how H.Es version B differs to OG Harry Evans. While v2 didn't face Grindelwald in the end, I'm pleased he was able to have a life with Eleanor. I assume the v2 arrived near Durmstrang, but I wonder if he still has a horcrux, considering he wouldn't of been introduced to the Flannels. Anyway, thanks for the chapter and I look forward to the next.

Biggest problem will be balancing the potential two wars he might be fighting now the growing one from Tom and this collective that lurks in the shadows and if they might choose to side with Tom or not. Add in just how much longer Harry is gonna be able to keep all this a secret from Amelia too which I have a feeling sooner or later she is gonna find out because she has already picked up Harry not telling her something that is affecting him and she is noticing the toll it is taking on him.

Holy shit! I’ve been a huge fan of your work for a while and only just found your Patreon page. WRBA remains one of my all time favourites and to see Evans in this universe (with Summerbee no less) is absolutely amazing. The fact that Charlus kinda-sorta remembers him surely means that most of early WRBA happened as it were. It’ll be brilliant to see Jameson and Evans working together (if such a thing were to happen). Can’t wait for more!

Well....an alternate version of When Roses Bloom Again I am pretty sure is the vibe in this world Harry is in. Because remember if this was that actual world then Evan woulda married McG. Also Gellert woulda been dead too because Harry killed him in an epic duel.

I agree it’s an alternate version, but the question remains, what is the series of alternate events? (Spoilers for WRBA and Chapter 36 of this story ahead, beware). I don’t think Evans went to Durmstrang. It’s more likely that Summerbee was at Hogwarts with him and the romance developed there, or at some point after he became your namesake. It’s seems Federov didn’t hand the personnel files to Evans in this universe, so it’s also possible that the Summerbee romance began after he captured her. Why not McG? I don’t know. But Charlus’ thoughts when he meets Jameson hints at a more complex set of events that nevertheless began with Evans attending Hogwarts (if for no other reason that he still chose the name “Evans” over any other). In this series of events, Evans never went to the front. He was waylaid when still a hitwizard. The critical event in this alternate is that he fell in love with Summerbee as opposed to McG and at some point during his time as a hitwizard, he revealed his true identity. Chapter 36 seems to indicate that Summerbee is his highest priority and that he’d see the world burn to keep her safe. Why isn’t he going after Tom? Was he really okay with letting go of his family (Charlus and Angelica, if she isn’t dead)? Why Summerbee and not McG? These are all interesting questions and the Baron is the only one who can answer them. I can’t wait for more!
