You're very talented and you've enhanced and, dare l say it, improved on the HP books. However, for me, your time travel au on ASOIF is missing a lot of what makes the books so great. Complex characters, great dialogue "power resides where men believe it resides & chaos is a ladder" and amazing villains that make the hero's payoff worthwhile. This story seems more like a season 8 alternative of the TV show rather than the books. Anyway, thank you for the chapter and I look forward to the next.

Awesome chapter, well worth the wait. Really enjoyed the part with Jaime and little Rhaenys. Jon and Brynden’s banter was great as well.

Sunny I get the feeling that this story is still very much in its early days. So let us have faith in the good Baron and see what twist and turns he has in store for us.

Lee McCusker (TheBlack'sResurgence)

Still very much laying foundations for many things. We haven't even got to Euron, and not even scratched the surface with Tywin, Varys, and what may it may not happen across the Narrow Sea

Sunny

Thank you for clarifying that.

Very good chapter! I like that Jaime is going to Dragonstone, he will have a bond that will be created between Jon and him! I'm also pleased that you're moving on to the other realms relatively quickly. It will be more interesting to linger at the Vale I think.

Please let Rhaella finally ask Jon the question she’s dying to or have him be accidentally found out… the suspense is killing me lol

I don't think we ever get to know Hoster very well from canon, but I'm surprised he would care so much about Jon being a bastard. As stated in the chapter, I see him more as an opportunist, and I would think that seeing Jon gaining more importance would make him want to be on good terms. But I guess you could be hardcore religious and an opportunist at the same time. I'm glad to see little Rhaenys getting some attention, and her own personal protector.

Great chapter, a little confused that Lyanna never spoke up even though you said she was with them

Sondre

Is there an ETA on the next chapter?

RC

Thank goodness youre still working away at this story, so enjoyable compared to the HP snoozefest .. Shame its only twice a month
