I think one of the few complaints that I had with your last story was that it seemed a bit unearned that Harry was suddenly going toe to toe with Voldemort via ex machine death training. Giving Harry the chance to learn and become his equal through effort is a great idea.

Riddle was at hogwarts during the Second World War… could Harry save him before he turns dark? I don’t think he has the soul shard in his head anymore, so there’s no reason for him not to prevent the rise of Voldemort.

I always thought that HP mom did something, less than trying to protect her child, some sort of ritual or whatever, and they glossed that over with her being a muggleborn. looking forward to more.

I thought you did an excellent job showing that Harry is skilled in magic without either making him overpowered at sixteen years (especially since he self-describes [rightly so] as outclassed by the likes of Dumbledore or Voldemort). Having the impromptu test with Minerva was great for both initial foray into their friendship, and to explain how Harry has a bunch of potential, yet untapped due to various circumstances, voluntary and otherwise.

I for one hope for no time skips. What is there to skip? Obviously we dont need to account for every songle day from now until the end but there's much to do for harry as a student and immediately after. Even the years before war happens are important to prepare and build connections with people.

I’m just throwing words at this point in the story. The Author only knows but I really wanna know if Harry is gonna be horrible to young Riddle or nurturing, kill the deep snake soon or wait, will Nickolas help, hinder or do nothing. So much to think about and sadly not enough chapters to truly speculate. Quick question: Is Harry’s near present English and slang going to clash with 30’s English and slang?

Love the interaction with Minerva and exploring magic while building some of harrys confidence in what is probably a Potter family talent given Charles and James both are good at transfiguration I admit I enjoyed the conversation with dumbledore about grindlewald but I’m surprised how fast Harry has shifted into conviction mode saying he’s even willing to slay grindlewald. I figure he’d be more in the middle like believing dumbledore needs a kick in the ass to fight grindlewald as he’s supposedly fated to do vs the way harrys thinking of going Rambo on grindlewald and his people I do like the implications of the dark lord potentially being grindlewald. I’m really eager to see the testing next chapter when dumbledore realizes how Op Harry can be like his patronus charm
