That “it’s just…” is important.
There’s something unspoken there that may be hinted at very subtly in the upcoming episodes. You may never find out exactly what made Matteo so hurt.
Or maybe you will. 😂
Honestly, I haven’t even written that part yet, so I genuinely don’t know how much I’m going to reveal. I’m currently far too busy writing a certain scene between character X and character Y. 👀😂

I’m starting to plan the ending of The Men In My Barracks (the story is currently written through Episode 39), and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
How do you see the story ending? What do you think should happen to each of the main characters, and where do you see their lives going at the end?
I’d love to hear your theories, predictions, and ideas for how you think everyone’s story should come to an end. 👀
P.S: I’m open to using some of the ideas you guys suggest.

I’m holding tight to the fact that Callum and Ryder will leave camp as a couple I have high hopes for these lovers and I refuse to let that go. If I am wrong then so be it but I hope I’m right.
Announcements
Playing Boyfriends Season 2 will have around 26–28 episodes in total. I’m currently working on Episodes 24 and 25 and have already mapped out the final stretch. I have a clear idea of how the story is going to end, so now it’s really just a matter of writing those final episodes.
Spoiler alert: it’ll be a HEA. I’m not going to let these two men go, no matter how things might seem right now with Nicolás and Jessica in the middle of everything.
As for The Men In My Barracks, I’m still figuring out the ending. I’m feeling a little stuck on Episode 40 and need to properly plan how I want everything to come together. Hopefully I’ll figure it out soon! Whether it’ll be a HEA or not, I honestly don’t even know myself yet. 😂
I’m hoping both The Men In My Barracks and Playing Boyfriends Season 2 will wrap up before Thanksgiving break. Yes, I’ll be taking a 5–6 day break from posting during Thanksgiving weekend, so I’m doing my best to finish both stories before the break!

Just a little update! Both Playing Boyfriends and The Men in My Barracks are expected to end by the end of November.
I’ve already written all of Playing Boyfriends (29 episodes + the epilogue), so that story is pretty much wrapped up on my end.
The Men in My Barracks, on the other hand, had me stuck for quite a while. I wasn’t sure where to take the story or how to bring everything together, but I’ve finally figured out the last stretch! The story is currently written up to Episode 43, and I’m planning to wrap it up around Episode 48. (+ or - 1 episode)
I want to give these men the ending they deserve and do justice to the story I’ve been telling, however that ending might look. I’m working on the final few episodes now, and I really want to make sure everything comes together in a way that feels earned.
A little disclaimer, though: some things in The Men in My Barracks might not be entirely accurate to real military or camp life. Most of my knowledge comes from TV shows and a frankly ridiculous amount of internet research. 😂 So if something feels a little off, I hope you’ll forgive me!
At the end of the day, this story has always been about the men in the barracks, not necessarily the barracks themselves. 😉
Anyway, I just wanted to keep you guys in the loop! I’m working hard on these final episodes and hoping to give both stories a satisfying close. It’s a little bittersweet knowing we’re nearing the end, but I’m also excited to see these stories through to the finish.
