u guys have seen like 20 of these videos and this might be my least favorite one. as a south indian, it feels like 25% of this video was just purely hatred on bollywood. obviously there are stereotypes but some of the stuff she said about jai bhim, and south indian blockbusters seemed very questionable. would love to know other south indians thoughts on this video

As a central indian, sorry to break the bubble but there are different regions in the country other than south and north. I dont recognise myself as a north indian but a central india. The whole video lost its relevance for me the moment she mentioned north and south. But anyways, i have lived one fourth of my life in the “south” of india. I have met people who are extremely nice to be regardless of the language i speak or the way i look. But i have also encountered some people who have yelled at me to go back to my state on a random street. I dont pay attention to such losers, obviously. This is my country and i can live wherever i want to. This debate on south vs north is so pathetic and stupid. Let me tell you, these movie industry people all around the world are very smart and they sell stereotypes. Why do they show in Hollywood movies, an Indian as some ugly looking, bad accent guy who gets made fun of all the time for his/her looks and accent. Stereotypes sell. So all i wanna say is, we got good and bad people, all around the globe. But if we could only a bit smarter we could appreciate how wonderful it is that our country is unique for its cultural and linguistic differences.
