Hi Patrons!
Today I want to share with you one of my favorite light setups, that is also beginner friendly! This light setup is based on one big light source that is positioned in a way that silhouettes objects in a scene. Then the process goes like this:

- establish flat shapes for the silluetthes, making sure that we have defined foreground/ midground/ background
-add shadows to each object to give it shape
- then deepen shadows here and there, specially in the nooks and crevices and areas where objects are touching each other (ambient occlusion)
- after defining everything a bit, start adding highlights and rimlights
-in the end add some glow only on few areas, where the light shines the brightest( specular highlights)
- check your values, and if everything "reads well" from a far

I went trought the entire process in the video:)
I wish you great rest of the weekend<3!
