Trying Heavy Paint app (Patreon)

Hi Patrons!

Have you tried Heavypaint before? I saw everyone on Instagram painting in it, for the heavyjan monthly challenge, so I thought to try it!

This app kicked my butt😆 Photoshop and Procreate are much more forgiving, hahahah. In this app they tried to make it more traditional, so there is no blending modes, no rotation of the canvas, I think not even the selection tool. Everything is clunky and a bit slow. And also the app craches often T_T

For this painting it crashed in the end, so this what you're seeing is actually a screenshot that I took from the recording I did of the process, since it erased all my progress. I will share the process video soon!

Buttt, that was the challenge, I was struggling a bit in the beginning, to understand how it works. It is quite fun!

I think it is a cool app for sketches, and studies, thumbnails etc:) For some serious paintings I'm sticking to Photoshop and Procreate😁

Let me know if you tried the app, what are your thoughts?
