Ahhh I think this was my favourite episode so far, they elucidated so many ideas I’ve been thinking about recently. It’s super exciting that you’ve got such a cool range of guests!

Such a great episode!! My first experience with a game in an art museum was Wafaa Bilal’s “Virtual Jihadi” at Chicago’s MCA— they also had a reproduction of the set from “Domestic Tension,” where, in a hellish precursor to twitch plays Pokémon, online viewers could control a paintball gun positioned in the space he lived in for a full month.

Incredible episode. The bit about the audience themselves being the medium in games was the quote I needed to finally finish my review of You Have To Be The Rope that I've been poking at for the past couple months. Also: wild for David Cage to come up in this one

Thank you so much for this episode. This and C. Thi Nguyen are a double feature for me. This episode, in particular, and the continued discussion of art and games made me subscribe. I hope we'll revisit this topic again soon.

In Malta, one of our main national art spaces has just had an exhibition themed around afrofuturism - and they straight up featured Relooted, as well as an anti-imperialist video piece created through GTA V. I love games created as Fine Art, but I also really appreciate when typical games can be appreciated through the lens of the arts.
